What's the best choice fr th racetrack?
Hi peps,
Whats the best choice of wheels a tire seize to drive on the racetrack 18', 19' and tire ? :zoom: |
Wheel size matters somewhat. I'd say 18 with either michelin pilot super sports or michelin cup tires. 275 in the back if possible. Correct me if i am wrong

When you say race track do you mean road course or drag strip?
For a road course, you want light, strong and without too much sidewall. Wheel weight will impact performance more than anything else. Get light strong wheels. I would go with very light 18" wheels and either Toyo R888, Hankook RS3 or Dunlop Star Spec tires. If it's for the drag strip, I have no idea. |
235 front?
I mean, le mans, nurburgring............ |

Personally I would go 245 front and either 265 or 275 rear. I run 245/265 and find it very balanced on the track. Pick a tire with lots of grip and a STIFF sidewall.

Depends on the wheel (18 or 19). On 19s, I run 245/35-19 and 265/30-19.
