They just have a really high reading dynojet, the number itself is meaningless, it's the delta between your car stock and modded that matters most.
If you want real numbers dyno on a dyno dynamics or a mustang dyno and you will be brought back down to reality.

Here is an interesting dyno overlay of my C63 Black vs a Supercharged E92 M3 on the same dyno and different days. I run much better thru what I like to call "real world RPM's" and then the HP picks up in the much higher RPM's for the M3. So at much higher speeds we would watch the M3 pull away strong Id bet.

Pretty interesting. Id love to see a race between the two. You'd have to keep your M3 running between 6700 and 8300 rpm to make more power than your BS merc. Being that the the M3 is lighter, it will probably walk away from the merc somewhere before, like maybe around 5500 rpm....Just my guess. From a rolling start, It would be interesting to see just how much lead the Mercedes can get before the M3 catches up.

Gotta love the big V8s low end torque. Got that M3 crushed by 150lbs at 2500rpm.
The C63 would take him off the line till that M3 got going and the horse power started pumping.
This is why the C63 is such a blast to drive around town. Stump pulling torque between 3500-5500rpm.

Vic, got the car dyno'd at EAS. Here is my chart with corrected numbers. This is a comparison of:
- Stock C63 non-PP ------- (379whp - 375wtq)
- OE Tuned C63 non-PP -- (421whp - 377 wtq)
- Stock C63 BS ------------ (448whp - 405wtq)
These are numbers from the same dyno, different day/cars. What's interesting to me is how much torque the BS has over stock or tuned non-BS C63s.

Remember those dynos were done on different days so there is a variety of things that could lead to it... Im not sure if 27 whp (you said 20 but my peak was 448 vs his 421 and actually I pulled more on another run) is the plus minus (it might be too much) but who knows. I do know that on my dyno day it was relatively hot.

Vic is correct. These were done in different days. C63 BS is proven to be a beast... and I believe makes more power not just because of tuning. The engine parts are proven to be different.
