Cold air intake

Hey guys. I would love to find a reasonably priced carbon fiber cold air intake. I've seen them from $1,900 to $3,500 . Any suggestions?

I absolutely love this car. Although modifications are a bit pricey. I had a 2002 Porsche 996 Twin Turbo and mods were 50% of what these proud MB suppliers want. I chipped my TT and the Porsche dealer said no biggie. My MB dealer said if I chip it, warranty is history.

I'm a little discouraged. I love modifying my cars, but mods on the C63 are either price prohibitive or void the warranty.

Gimme some ideas guys!! Names of good vendors would be helpful.
Thanks
Bob

Good luck, everything is MB TAXED. Surprised Porsche is cheaper.

The intakes are a complete waste of $$ IMO for how much they cost.

A tune is the best, and headers second. Other stuff your pissing ur $$$ away.

Around $450 shipped for my power pipe and you get a few extra ponies and have a really nice sound...kinda like the German version of smokey and the bandit

All bolt on with Vband so no worries about dealer or emission.
No silly MB tax here and you help the kids of st Jude

None of the Air Intakes do much fo you as far as increased power or performance. They are mostly cosmetic from what I have heard. And they are expensive as you are already aware bud.

Get the ROW air boxes and AFE Dry Flow drop in filters and you're good to go.

Half the price of those fancy CF intakes.

U can pick up a tune with handheld tuner for 1000-1200 and have more then 1 tune in the device.

The Intakes u can pick one up on eBay for 800-900.(make a offer)

I think ACG (Automotive Connoisseur Group) can supply what you want.
