Let me explain the two versions for the Mercedes:

The first gauge communicates with the ECM (Engine control module), using the ISO protocol used by Mercedes. The second communicates with the TCM (transmission control module) and uses the CAN protocol. This is the first application that we've seen that has two protocols on the same car, thus the need for two gauges unless you don't care to monitor the trans parameters.

There is no wideband specific gauge. Both the ECM and TCM gauges have 2 analog inputs which can be used to connect to our or any other wideband kit. A conversion is entered into the gauge to convert the voltage to A/F ratio. These inputs can be used with temp sensors, pressure sensors, EGT etc. Aeroforce sell wideband kits if you dont already have one.

We have a third gauge called the Analogic, this one does not connect to the OBD2 port. It has four 0-5v inputs and 2 EGT inputs. This is a good choice if you are adding a lot of additional sensors or have a pre-OBD2 car.

Listed Below are some of the PID's available for each gauge:

ECM Gauge Using the ISO protocol
1.Intake Air Temp
2. Coolant Temperature
3. RPM
4. Boost – inHg/PSI. Derived from MAP sensor subtracting barometer.
5. MAP kPa – Manifold Absolute Pressure displayed in kPa
6. MAF lb/min – Mass Air Flow Sensor
7. Throttle Angle
8. Ignition Advance
9. Engine Load
10. MPG – Calculated miles per gallon
11. HP – Calculated HP at crank
12. Battery – battery voltage
13. Inj. PW 1 –Injector Pulse Width for injector #1
14. Inj. PW 2 –Injector Pulse Width for injector #2
15. Oil Temp
16. Oil Level mm
17-24. Knock C1-C8 –knock retard cylinder 1-8
25. O2 B1 mv – O2 sensor output for exhaust bank 1
26. O2 B2 mv – O2 sensor output for exhaust bank 2
27. Analog 1 – analog input 1
28. Analog 2 – analog input 2

TCM and uses the CAN protocol
1. TCC Slip – Torque Converter Slip
2. TCC Slip DSRD –Torque Converter Desired Slip
3. TCC State – Torque Converter status:1=unlocked, 2=partial lock, 3 = lock
4. Gear Actual –Current transmission gear
5. Torque – torque delivered to transmission
6. Output shaft –transmissoin output shaft speed
7. Gear Target –Transmission target gear, will updated just before shift occurs.
8. RPM
9. Turbine in SPD –engine output shaft speed
10. TCC DC- Torque converter clutch duty cycle
11. Analog 1 – analog input #1
12. Analog 2 – analog input #2

We will run a group pricing only for 3 weeks, and is as follows:
Single Gauge-$219.00
Dual Gauge-$379.00
Wideband-$179.00

Just wanted to mention some things that you guys may ask about:

1. Both the trans and ecm gauge should be connected to switched 12v power using the included 3 wire harnesses. They will not turn on/off properly using OBD2 power due to the way the ISO protocol works.

2. The gauges may or may not come with the red 2 pin jumper on the back of the gauge. The instructions say to remove it, some may not and the gauge will not turn on properly. Remember to remove the jumper.

3. The user manual for this gauge is V5.2 found on our website here:

http://aeroforcetech.com/files/Interceptor_USER_MANUAL_rev_5_2.pdf [1]

It's pretty simple to install and use.

There are several mounting options, some permanent, and some non-permanent. They can be tucked away if you desire when passangers are in the car.

Well I was in good contact with Craig last week but then he just stop replying. It was Friday so I assumed he took the day of which is normal but I was hoping I would have had a response today.
