Hello!

Hey guys,

Just dropping in to say hi as a person considering a jump to the C63. I've lurked and ran a bunch of searches already, but the forum seems a tad bit disorganized at times, so bear with me if I ask any retarded and repetitive questions in the coming days. Anyways, hope to see you guys around in a MB soon, and thanks in advance for everything fellas!

I still think the one that takes the cake is "How can I make my C63 sound like an M3?"

Welcome and ask away, this is why this forum exists and yes, it can be VERY unorganized when you're trying to find an answer.

lol I'm actually a 2-time M3 owner (2008 and 2011.5). Selling (again) because I've had mechanical problems with the car two times. Haha.

I gotta say, the sound from the front at 8,400 RPM is amazing from an M3, but the sound out of the rear from that 6.2L is just....WOW. Why make it sound like an M3? lol

Anyways, thanks for the welcome guys, my only two questions right now are about the H&R Springs and how those "different" spring seats that people seem to use look compared to the "normal" ones, and recommended wheel size/offsets/tires, I plan to get HRE P43SC's as of right now.

I went directly to the H&R coil-overs. I'm not 100% sure on your first question but the second question the answer is typically most people go for the 19x8.5 et40 front and 19x10 et52 rear. This is not the most aggressive, but this is the one that works well without rubbing if you plan to sit lower than the .75 H&R spring.

There are some wheel and tire gurus on here that can get you more aggressive offsets and sizes if you seek to go that route.

Nah, I'm happy with moderate. I ran 255/275 on my M3 when some people I know were running 285/315's. I just want a few mods but want to stay problem-free, so I'll be happy with those if they are safe/moderate but better than stock.

How are the coils in comfort compared to stock? I figured I'd have to go to V3's or something, but I decided to go for just springs on the Merc if I get it because I thought they were a pain in the *** most times. Depending on how the H&R coils are though, it's always an option.
