New Toys In!
Just wanted to share that I just received two new items for my C63:
1. OE Tuning's MyGENIUS flash loader, and
2. H&R lowered springs
Look forward to install them both for next week. Pics will be posted soon.
Regards,
Yazid

Congrats!
You'll love the mygenius tool. Jeremy dyno tuned my car yesterday and made some great power from my car. Get his race gas (ms109) tune, it rips.

Hey guys, wanted to check with the forum on something on dyno runs.
I'm scheduled to perform the dyno runs on Feb 25th in the afternoon with a local garage shop which has dynojet. After speaking with the manager, his only concern was to know how to check on the RPM reading with the lil clamps they have as our engine bay is quite tight.
From your experiences, would anyone be able to point out to where should he put the RPM clamp to read the torque?

There is a post buried in here somewhere with a pic for rpm pickup. Going from a bad memory I think it is the red wire to #1 coil pack (front one on driver's side of the engine).

Just to update you folks on the new items shipped in.. I've finally put them wicked H&R springs on yesterday!
The local garage had a tough time in removing the rear coils as it was tricky! Nevertheless the outcome was outstanding!
I drove around the whole day today and man the ride feels surprisingly better in terms of comfort compared to the P30 package. Due to the fact the centre of gravity is lower, she feels like she's on rails going around tight corners.
Here are some pics I took from today..

Wow, ur H&R makes a huge difference in terms of look! I guess u r using the oem rear spring pads? Cuz the rear look slightly lower than the front.

^^ Tim, you will need 165/30/19 for your rear... or else you will rub on H&R springs. LOL

Cheers! My tire specs as follows:
Front 245 35 R19 on Michelin PSS
Rear 275 30 R19 on Bridgestone Potenza S001
Reason having the potenza at the rears was due to the fact there weren't any PSS avail when my I had to change my tires. Bloody good tires I have to say!

Just had a dyno done this afternoon however there had to cut short due to the weather. It rained after I pulled the Race Performance dyno. I wanted to pull in the stock numbers again as it wasn't in dyno mode. I haven't received the screenshot from the garage yet however will post it once I receive it. In the meantime my numbers are as follows:
Stock: 357 whp / 339.65 ft-lbs
Street Performance: 428.92 whp / 394.92 ft-lbs
Race Tune: 430 whp / 389 ft-lbs
Avg temp of 32.04 deg celsius
Avg humidty of 64%
I need to perform another dyno on Stock to get the proper baseline figures to compare with the street and race tunes.
Upon leaving the garage, it was raining very hard so I wasn't able to test the car however I can tell she is more gruntier! I'll have to wait for another weekend at the dyno garage..
P/S - RennTech CF Airbox had already been installed on the car prior to taking the stock baseline dyno.

Here's the dyno sheet I've received from the garage done on Feb 25th.
Blue - Stock (not in dyno mode - to be redone)
Red - Street Perfomance
Green - Race
I have to say, the way the M156 responds now is fantastic. Its more responsive and pulls harder than normal. Even the sounds coming out of the stock exhaust is meaty!
A special thank you to the folks at OE Tuning

I'm thinking to raise the rear shocks by about 15mm. Think this can be done?

Sick setup Yazid. Love your wheels and the new drop.
Why do you want to raise the rear by 15mm?
It will look like a drag-car if you raise the rear and leave the front lowered.
If You use stock spring pads in the rear, You will raise the car a few mm and make the drop look even.
