LTH/TUNE SET-UP FOR A C63BS

Hey guys!

So listen, I've posted about headers in the past and came to the conclusion that I want to either put MBH or MHP headers on my car with a Weistec tune. If I put these headers on, I am thinking that I will run an x-pipe and leave the rest of the exhaust stock. I don't know too much about how I should run these headers, so any advice would be helpful. I want the car to be louder, but not overwhelmingly loud being that it is my daily driver. So, if anybody on the forums has LTH on their c63BS and would like to comment on the set-up and how loud the car actually is, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd also appreciate recommendations from those of you who have LTH on a BS and want to let me know what route I should go. Thanks guys!

Nick

I'm in a similar situation with my 13 p31 sedan. MBH headers with catless mids, x-pipe, and Kleemann tune getting installed this week. I highly recommend this setup and have had it on the 3 previous c63's I owned. Spectacular sound, power, and reliability. I'm sure the Weistec tune will produce similar results.

Good luck.

MBH and a Weistec tune is the way to go. It will sound awesome but it will nit be too load, pretty mellow unless you are running at wide open throttle.

I was running MHP headers, X pipe, no cats. With Weistec tune.

It ran awesome.

Make sure you get an X pipe or the headers are way too loud and obnoxious.

Eric, you should try the newly updated Weistec tune. They have specific files for your MBH headers. You will fly like a bullet. Your in Cali so it shouldnt be a problem.

Not taking anything away from the Kleeman tune. i just believe the Weistec tune will get you more power to the wheels safely

Awesome. Post some sound clips afterwards. I've been thinking about MBH headers and x pipe also for the BS. I don't think I'd ever do catless mids with straighpipes again. It was fun for the first month, then it was just too loud for daily driving. The exhaust fumes also became annoying after a while. Maybe I'll do MBH headers with hi-flow cats, x pipe, and weistec tune. I emailed weistec, but no response

I thought about going with the Weistec tune this time, it's just that my past results with the Kleemann tune were so impressive, and as they say, if it ain't broke, why fix it. I'm still considering it though.

This was cold start when I had my MBH headers/mid-pipes less cats.
