Yep....he got me. That was a fast car. We ran three times, first race I had a belt issue, he kindly gave me a rematch, I won rematch then he came to me Sunday asked for another rematch becuase he said his meth was not working properly and you can see the results of the re-rematch in this video.
That was not even the fastest M3 at the track that day, there was a red stage 3 HPF M3 that was clearly quicker than my C BS but clearly trapping 4-5 mph slower than my CLK. Never got a chance to line it up with the red car and my CLK. Those HPF cars are no joke.

Yes, second day after I fixed my methanol issue. Will post our first run tomorrow.
Yes, my motor is built.
I agree, I would have ran it even though I would have lost, but the car was down the second day. The CLK and another red turbo M3 on e85 would have been a great run!

both cars are monsters . my buddy had the Stage 2 HPF kit and his M3 ran like a champ . i always wondered why he didn't go 2.5 or 3 but i saw that those need the built motors , so i guess that's the reason
nice to see people put up videos of some friendly competition without being a complete *** about it and pretending they have the fastest car on earth
hopefully one of these days , i can start making it out to some of these events . just need to get the completion of my ocean container yard moved to it's new location done so i don't have so many things to worry about

Meth isn't very reliable on the HPF cars, I used to always have problems with it on mine, and would lose 150+hp (and races) when it doesn't work right. The red HPF car is a buddy of mine from Calgary, stage 2.5 on E85, no meth. It's consistent because it doesn't rely on meth. Would've loved to see him run with your CLK.
Kenton's car is actually a stage "2.75" since he running the larger 71mm turbo. Now it's all custom with all types of changes.
