hey guys my name is mohammed ali from kuwait but i just moved to toronto and i got me a red c 63 amg coupe red / black well still didnt get it yet but under payment , so i was wondering on installing some exhaust system what do you guys recomend ? akropovic ? stock ? or other exhaust

Its all about taste. Personally I hate the akraprovic sound. I love the stock note you could always modify the mid pipe by deleting the secondary cats and/or resonator. I think the best sounding aftermarket one for me is eisenmann but thats because its similar to stock lol. Youtube is your best bet

your right , haha i love akrapovic i have it on my 599 gtb in kuwait sounds insane , but after youtubing for like 3 hours im going to the dealership tomorrow and listen one more time to the exhaust before changing my mind and installing akrapovic

I love the stock exhaust sound... it can be amplified using an X, H or straight pipe with deleted resonator.

Imo, I love the stock exhaust, I think that the akropovic exhaust is the nothing close to what I would describe as insane. I really don't understand what everyone likes about the akropovic exhaust, but to each his own. The only reason why I would change stock exhaust is to loose weight.

I agree, the Akro exhaust is a waste of money if you want a nice sound. If you want loud, just put cut outs on and be done, you have the nice stock rumble when you want it and then you have an insanely loud scream when the cut outs are open, not to mention you can save $2000 with cut outs.

i went from stock to adding catless headers... was crazy loud... then went to topspeed pro 1 exhaust and it made it quieter and definitely a different tone than stock. if you care about weight, i think most aftermarket exhausts will save you some pounds.

Akropovic doesnt sound good on the C63 and the tips are ugly IMO! I would go with Eisenmann or just leave it stock!!

As long as the car is not registered in Cali, you can do what you want to the exhaust. In calling touch anything from the secondary cats forward and you're screwed for smog test (visual inspection failure).
