Switch to Vossen CV3 or Keep BBS Ch-R
I have had my CH-R's for about a year now and really like them. They were originally silver and I had them powder coated satin black roughly 6 months ago. I keep seeing w204's with the Vossen CV3's and I really like how they look and how they just purely show the caliper.
I am torn on if I should try to sell my CH-R's and try to pick up a set of Vossens

I really want to lower my car with H&R springs but am worried that I will rub badly with my et45 rear with my PSS 265 rear tire. It is to bad the BBS wheels are such aggressive offsets.
Anyone think I can get away with lowering with these specs. I rarely have more than one passenger in my car. I just don't want a blowout or to damage the rear fender in any way.
Any input is appreciated. I might be open to offers on the BBS wheels with no tires. Wheels are in pretty good condition, no curb rash or bends. Freshly powder coated satin black not to long ago. I think one rear wheel has two very small nicks on the lip. These wheels new on tirerack are $2,600 I would be open to any reasonable offer to maybe convince me to sell them and buy a different set of wheels.

Best way to find out if your current set-up will rub after the H&R drop, put 3 passengers in the rear seat & go for a drive. You will instantly feel/hear the slight rub on your fenders.
My bet is they will rub as I was rubbing with my 19x9.5 +50 with 275/30/19 ... but no more rubbing after I switched to 265/30/19... so my advice is if you rub with your 265/30/19, go down to 255/30/19 & you will be fine with your 19x9.5 +45 & H&R drop.. easy fix.

...I actually got a response from Allen Alvarez and he stated the a 5mm spacer was required for these wheels?
I'm not a big fan of 'spacers', otherwise I would be all over these wheels!

Is this a common problem that you know of or an issue you've had personally? I'm interesting in purchasing these wheels in that specific color so naturally this comment has peaked my interest as I'm not familiar with Vossen's wheels or quality.
