BRAKE HELP

Okay so I bought all 4 new pads for my C63. EBC red stuff. Install was pretty simple. Only changed because I wanted less brake dust. Other then that old pads were fine. Well I put about 500 miles on the new pads and they sound horrible. Sounds like some are rubbing making a swoosh noise not to mention squeaky. Like they all need new pads. I have no idea what the problem is. I tried to seat them. No difference. Only option is to put the old ones back in. Anyone else have this issue?

Did you lube the back of the pads, I am guessing no.

EBC red stuff is a track pad if i remember correctly... In other words, has to be heated up quite a bit to potentially stop squeaking.

Reds are racing pads and horrible for daily use due to squeaking/noise.

I went with Girodisc.com and bought their 2-piece slotted rotors and the Hawk 60 brake pads for the One Lap event with great results, no squeak and minimal dust. Best of all... the pads have not hurt the rotors at I have abused these things repeatedly from speeds over 160 mph all week long!

After trying three different sets of pads and two different rotor combos... I feel this setup is the best.

Thanks for all the help guys. So I took my tire off and spin the rotor to see what was dragging and it wasn't my pads. Was the metal clip that pins hold down. I had it upside down and it was rubbing top of rotors. Yup I'm
A idiot. Haha quiet as a mouse now and low low brake dust.
