C63 BS Exhaust changes and sound dB
I have make some changes to my exhaust and measure the dB with the changes. unfortunately I do not have stock measures since the car was modified already when I decided to start this.
All measurements done at 25 feet at 5000rpm and stock mufflers
C63BS with OEM exhaust with 2nd Cat deleted and resonator deleted= 105.2 dB
C63BS with LTH+X-pipes, no Cats , no resonator = 117.8 dB
C63BS with LTH+X=pipes, no Cats, OEM resonator = 104.8 dB.
I thought the information was interesting,Next some dyno testing
I hope this is useful info to someone.

Interesting results. Please update us with your dyno results and if you can take some videos I want more power out of my car, but don't want it to wake the neighbors.

OP, thanks for this info. I was wondering how loud mine would be since I have a set of MBH headers, high flow cats, and x pipe on the way. This gives me a good idea, but does anyone know how loud the stock exhaust is without any mods done??? I'd measure myself, but I'm not in the same location as my car, and won't be for another month or so. I wanted more power, but also didn't want it as loud as a completely open setup. I had that on my last C63, and it got annoying after a while. I figure 200 cell cats with x pipe and OEM resonator should keep the decibel levels somewhat civilized.
