Last night I got abused/smoked/raped by a new BMW 550i. Anyone ever come a cross one? Should I have gotten smoked??

- depends if you raced from a dig or freeway speeds.
- depends if you were manually shifting or were in C or S mode.
- depends if you put 100% in or not.
- depends if the 550i was stock or tuned
- depends if it was a 2013 or what yr.

You have a 450 HP with a decent transmission.
Did you know that the 2013 550i will go up to an impressive 445 HP and 480 lbs-ft of torque.

Now couple with the nice transmission BMW has.

Again, it all depends on a lot of factors.

Stock those cars don't stand a chance against a C63...but maybe that one was tuned. They have turbo engines and can probably put on horsepower pretty easily with a tune.

What year is your c63 I think u should of smoked it unless u were drag racing up high and the BMW was turbo

That car comes stock 445hp. How can u say it stands no chance. Its freaking 400+hp

445 hp tt and with X-Drive it has AWD, they are rockets from a dig in bone stock trim and they have the same tuning potential as the 335 tt had/has.

It really depends on the conditions but in stock form, on a roll run, they (even the new 445hp one) will not stand a chance. I've ran against two so far. Now if it was a DINAN Stage 1,2, or 3, they go above 500hp (crank) and should definitely take a stock C63.

The 550 is also some 800 lbs more. That might have something to do with it.

Exactly. If a 550 is a little down on hp, AWD isn't going to make up for the extra weight. He must've had something done.

It must've been tuned in order to be "raped." Tuned, yes, they are beasts. Not tuned, they would be pretty close

From what I've read the 550 GT get's the bump in HP and not the sedan. Stock it's a 13.0 1/4 mile car and would stand no chance against a C63. Tuned it could do some damage.

TTs get crazy gains from just a tune. I think Rob@Vivid's CLS63 was pumping 700hp.

my friend has a tuned 550i which is currently pushing 590hp and 570lb/ft of torque (has every dinan mod out there on it) and the race that i did with him, i too would use the same adjectives the OP used "owned/raped/smoked"...it was destruction from both a dig and a roll. Only thing i have is eurocharged tune and mid pipe (about 550hp and 500lb/ft of torque) but yes, race was fairly lop sized haha. That AWD and torque combo is quite deadly.

Sounds like it could pull, but shouldn't rape from a roll if that is his HP vs. yours. Probably not. It is heavier, a regular auto and has AWD. After 40 or whatever mph HP counts.

I have a tuned Renntech 530 HP E550' 4matic, 2012. I went the drag strip with a buddy that has a Dinan Tuned 550 i X. Spec says 505 HP TQ ??, I was pulling in the low 12s, he was running hi 12s.
I also have a tuned C63, 480 whp. The best I can do is 11.9. It does not surprise me that he kicked your butt if your stock.
