Need Help! Water in headlamps!
I took the car to another dealership with the stock eyelid bulbs in. They looked at the car and concluded that there was water in the headlights and it will not be covered under warranty. Furthermore these idiots wanted to charge me $350 to remove the bumper for further examination. I declined the work, took the car back home.
I contacted Caesar at Lightwerkz and took the car in for him to see. He did not see any water or condensation in my headlights and advised me to purchase a used module on ebay. I purchaed 2 used modules for $100 each and took the car back to Caesar. He replaced the modules with the new ones. The old modules were a little corroded possibly due to water damage. It was an easy fix. Took about an 1hour and a half.
Conclusion, I paid nothing near the $3,800 that mercedes of manhattan douches wanted me to pay for new modules and headlights. The lights are working just fine after swapping out the modules. Big thanks to Caesar for being so professional and handling everything so well. He was very backed up in work but still took me in short notice!
I use it often when trying to find a good business like collision centers and places that take big sums of money. You'd be surprised. Half of these places have cases against them in the history.
