i recently had a nail in my Michelin PSS and it cost something like $80 to repair at the dealer.

When I picked my car up, dealer told me that even aftermarket wheels would be covered for as long as they're not chromed. I got the impression that it's not something offered by MB itself but rather the dealerships (like having you windows tinted for example).
P.S. While you may want those HREs or ADV1s, I would suggest you pass on the ADV1s and buy the HREs.

I ended up buying a similar package, but it included roadside assistance, front windshield, lost key bobs, the rims and tires and paintless dent remover. 5 ys for $2000.
In hindsight, playing the odds and likelihood of each event versus the cost, it's worth maybe half that (yes, I made a spreadsheet).
I knew two people who bought it and both cracked two rims. I decided for the peace of mind, based on their experience, but that has a price.
All that being said, for just cracked rims... $1300 is too much IMO. If it includes curb rubs, maybe.
for tires, you'll be replacing the (rears) more frequently anyways - its not like they cover that too?
lastly, if you are not paying for that 'warranty' cash and add that to your loaned drive out cost - you are paying for interest on that $1300.
Well worth the $$. Paid for the initial cost with one incident.
Do research before commenting.
There is no research for this type of decision. The W&T package is a lucrative contract $$ filler at the dealership. It's an insurance policy that the insurer bets you will never use and they are right or they would not offer it.
Of course, the OP will do whatever they want to do. And if it makes one feel "warm and fuzzy" then by all means spend your money.
