How did they manage to option the carbon fibre interior inserts on the doors (507 badge) but not around the gear shift which has gloss black? I thought you could only get gloss black?

It's a factory option to get carbon. All C's with the carbon option are fitted that way (with gloss black around the gear shift) sans brushed aluminum I believe - someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

It is. Look at the eBay seller and also the background in the the two auctions. I was wondering what they were doing, then it dawned on me. They built and ordered some for the dealership, not an individual who built and put a deposit down.

It feels like they thought they would get ahead of the curve and gouge someone. Trying to get above(or at least) what the MSRP on those cars are. Trying to be the first kids on the block to offer, therefore trying to get "premium" pricing.

Does not seem very ethical.
