Well, so this happened because of several factors:

- Dad moving to Toronto, I don't like flying, so I needed a car to take up there 1600 mile+ round trip (Hell no I ain't taking my C63 every time).

- Even though I'm at Duke, still a bunch of people who talk sh*t since I'm a kid there who is freeloading off his Dad's money and driving an AMG

- Listen to a lot of country, always loved big Chevy trucks, I have a soft spot for them.

So.... I am now the Republican Wannabe-Redneck Indian boy who has a C63 weekend car, and a.....


1989 Chevy Truck... Oh boy...


It's not a Benz, but why not share haha. It has the 454 7.4L V8 Chevy Engine. I look forward to repainting it, lifting it, and who knows what else, spew some suggestions (I'm definitely getting real rims and bigger tires).

And yes, this one was with my own money, haha.

Hmmm. not what I imagined for 1300 mile round trips. Pickups are so clumsy on highways. well, enjoy it. That's sum truck. hyuk hyuk.

Yeah my dad kinda went blank when I told him too... But.. I want to still have some fun/a smile on my face when my exhaust and everything is finished while driving, a corolla or camry is no fun . And it's either a hit or miss, people will either love it or hate it, haha. It has 30k original miles and all problems on it have been fixed, with a long list and book full of work done on it. I feel like it'll be pretty reliable.

And turns out its 1600+, not 1300.. So yay......!

I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and guess that you aren't paying for the gas 1300 miles at a pop.

454. Dually. All you need now is a 24ft race trailer and you can take your C63 with you too.

get an aux. tank, because that sucker is one thirsty mother. Id probably upgrade the radiators and trans coolers since big blocks are known to have overheating issues. Its probably going to need some fresh suspension parts other than the liftkit springs, tie rods, drag links, control arm bushings. Fix the leaks and whatever maint. needs addressed. Other than that enjoy.

I'll be going to see him 2-3 times a year, he will come down 2 times as well, so I'll see him like 5 times a year. I can afford the gas, don't want to put ANOTHER burden on him. And if I'm taking the C63, I'm not passing on a 1600 drive in it, I'd rather drive it haha.

Good idea, except there's nowhere you can use them in NC unless it's private property or some trail full with 4runners.

Read Original Post, (republican, redneck-wannabe), a prius won't cut it! Besides the C300, none of our cars the family has ever owned (20+), have ever gotten over 20 highway mpg, and much less city. The S550 and ML320 had slight mods done which prevented it, and even then, they only got 21mpg highway stock.

Of course my dad wasn't expecting me to get a tank, but he did breathe a huge sigh of relief I did not get a car that gets high gas mileage.

Haha!! Enjoy that thing, lift it to the sky and run over a bunch of ****. I agree prius' do suck ***, but I rented one, beat the **** out of it, got 25mpg and gave it back. It was worth it! lol!! YeeeeeeeeHaw!!!

I'll post pictures when I lift it, idk how high I'll lift it though for now (new driver/safety concerns), but it'll be high eventually. And I bet that was fun, and by beat the **** out of it, you mean, like 60mph 3000rpm right? I bet your Miata and STI are even more fun than the prius though (when you're going 2mph vs beating up the prius)!

For less than the price of some C63 Carbon Fiber here are some mods you can do to get the look. 1. Tint the side windows 2. Confederate flag wrap for the back window. 3. Gun rack is mandatory. 4. Post-mount Spot light for hunting from the road at night while in the cab. 5. KC off-road driving lights. 6. Some ***** hanging from your trailer hitch. 7. Mud Flaps with crome sillouette of female form. 8. I feel there should be a boy urinating on a BMW emblem somewhere. 9. Bumper sticker choice of My other car is a Mercedes; or I'd rather be driving my tractor. LOL Just Kidding

He gave me #3, 4, 5 and 2 with it for free since he was gonna put them one and didn't do it, no joke. And #8 and 9, hmm... Lol I don't plan on putting anything on it like that though.
