Trust me, I didn't want to lower my car at all at the beginning, but after hanging around those bad influence mbworld members, I had to pull the trigger on a slight drop.. And gotta admit this is the best mod on my car.. And great value/ return on investment. Lol
Good luck & do what makes u happy with ur car.

It seems many want to see this thing dropped! Well all I can do is tell you to start emailing ADV, KW, Weistec or any of the other tip top vendors on here. I'm open to sponsorship and making this thing insane if that's what people want. Otherwise, I'd rather spend my money on other things I want at this point in time.
I have reached out to a few of our vendors because I think this would be a super cool project to perform a widebody conversion with a weistec blower to compliment it. I did my WS6 and it's very well executed. So I have the skills to manage the mods needed to tastefully do it, I just don't have the will to spend the $30k it will take to make a completely sick widebody 507 sedan build.
Thanks everyone else for the compliments!

I am not a great fan of lowering the suspension either, i think it looks great the way it is. I also agree the subtle mods (ie CF) look classy. I would not go beyond that for the outside look.
Weistec under the bonnet, well, that is definitely on the agenda, but not straight away
PS. I love the "go fast" factory stripes And i will not be getting rid of them for sure. So, after all this, de gustibus non est disputandum.

Great looking car - but I may be biased, I pick up my black 507 here in a few days, but with silver wheels.
Not sure about the stripes - They are doing the front paint protection film and I told my dealer to take them off and then called him and told him to leave them on...figure I will roll with it for a bit and then see what I think.
As far as a drop I think they look nice "dropped" but this is my daily and with real world situations I don't need to be rubbing anywhere...I don't want to have to worry about scraping or putting folks in the back and having things rub.
Enjoy. Can we get some pics of the WS6? Always liked those...

I agree with the majority regarding the drop; and I dont see those wheels rubbing as your camber will adjust with the drop.

If you do it right mening you don't rig the car by using spacers you won't rub, the car I'm my opinion looks 4x4 and would look best if dropped at least half inch to 1 inch front and rear.

It looks damn good as is even though I agree with most, to make it f'kn killer, H&R springs and black out. Still a beautiful car bro! Love the wheels.

First and foremost, you don't need to buy Black lugs....Audi sells plastic lug caps in every colour and they are only $1 a piece....they slide right on top of the factory or aftermarket longer lugs.
Apologies in advance for the Chevy content
Just to give some perspective, I installed a narrowed rear end on my 71 Z28 and even with my 18x12s, they didn't fill the wheel wells. I added 1.25" spacers in the rear and the stance is nailed. Spacers help you nail the look you are going for

Sick classic Camaro bro!! Spacers will definitely transform the look of ur wheels.. If used with caution (longer bolts & re-torque regularly)

OMG man - beautiful '71. If I had my choice in Camaro build up, it'd definitely be a 70-73 2nd gen. Great execution all the way around.
As for your wheels on the '71 - are you running a drag setup (like welds or the like) during drag season perhaps? Only reason I ask is because with your street setup you're leaving 1.25" of well space not filled with tire! I run 19x14's on my T/A and as killer as it looks, I'd think your '71 would look perfect with super steamrollers back there.

Actually with my narrowed rear end, my wheels started rubbing against the inner fenderwell, so for bigger meats I would need a mini-tub, which I'm seriously considering
Sick T/A! Love the widebody...probably the baddest WS6 out there

Thanks for the compliments bro! The car is just getting wrapped up at the paint shop - doing a matte black/matte house of kolor "majik blue" stripes thing.
Before (hard to tell in pics)
I'll be sure to upload pics of the finished deal here shortly

I'm having the centers painted satin black to match the car's current satin black theme, but I'm keeping the chrome lips. (I know I called it matte black earlier, but since we're getting into the build, I'll call it what it is)
If interested, here's the inspiration behind my recent change. The only difference is I'm doing more of a satin black rather than a matte black.
Close up of the wheel. If I had to guess, I'd say this is a chrome 3.5-4" lip
matte (left) vs. satin (right) - satin appears to be more rich looking; deeper with a slight sheen. (Hats off to ModeCarbon for this pictorial and helping me decide my paint color!)
