Mode Carbon front flics

Hi guys i just got the Mode Carbon front carbon fibre flics/ canards installed on my Black Series. Car is filthy due to some pretty hardcore weather down here in Sydney so i dont have pics YET but have a few things to mentions:

Firstly the fitment is great, the 4 parts fit nice and flush with no gaps.
The carbon fibre weave looks completely OEM and a step above suppliers like Revozport (who's many products i have happily bought FYI). Its on par with MACarbon who did the interior in my C63 sedan and that stuff is top notch
The weave pattern is almost perfectly matched in direction with the OEM front spoiler so looks like factory part
The colour is a little off (ie its a fraction darker) but i suspect that that is probably because i have had my car for over a year and the OEM front spolier has been exposed to elements/UV and has yellowed ever so slightly. Only a close examiniation but an anla retentive would reveal this though.

In short i give this product a massive thumbs up and extremely happy with my purchase

I have a BS in Sydney and am interested in installing the Canards.

I would love to see Mavericks pics when he has a moment.

Are there other manufacturers of this as a aftermarket component?

Thanks for your help.

I did mine as well, they look great. Just make sure your installer knows exactly where to place them.

From that angle it looks OEM.
Probably better in person.

They look nice, like OEM quality but not to be nit picky the top one is placed totally wrong on your car.

Front opening should be larger than rear, yours are narrow to wide and they should not run concentric radius parallel to one another. Take a look at the ones on my car installed at the factory and one in an image from AMG PL site. you can also peak at the white C BS on the very top of the MB World page. The sharks mouth should be open, not closed.

The Canards look great,

But just to set the record straight, Revozport is one of the very few Manufacturers to receive an ISO and TUV standardized rating in composite manufacturing.

Very few offshore brands receive this type of recognition, I would actually say your Revozport stuff are actually closer to OEM grade compared to the Mode carbon!

Just wanted to clarify that.

You are 100% correct. (sore subject) I was away and the installer was having great difficulty figuring the placement. Nicholas from mode carbon was trying his best to aid them over the phone, but they went ahead and drilled it the way they did. I am disappointed in the placement. If I could source a cheap front bumper I might redo them at a later date.

Was not trying to rain on your parade, they look nice and 99% of people out there would never notice. They are placed at different angles so they can both pick up air, runing them parallel takes the air off of one of them. None of this matters anyhow since you are not running a large rear wing and the flics were designed to create aero balance for the larger rear wing. They look awesome and give the car a much more aggressive look. To be honest I was not a fan of the rear wing on my aero pkg C BS but it was functional. The non aero pkg car did not look aggressive enough in my opinion and the flics you installed finish off the car perfectly.

I see two different placements of the top set of flics in two of those pics Jim, yours looks different to the other car pictured.

Thanks for that Kris. I call it how I see it. I have bought many products off RevoZport over last 3 years for multiple different cars. Their products are good but the quality is not quite as good as Mode. I can see the parts side by side in my garage and believe I am very well placed to make this judgement.

It's just the angle, mine are just like the ones in the photo I got off the PL site. Look at the one on the top of this page in the MB World header, do a google image search.

In the one photo of mine Grahams car is right next to mine and his are identicle to mine.
