Andrew's Log: C63
 

Hello I'm Andrew from the Netherlands,..
I saw this great forum at the internet and I saw a lot of info's and pics so became a member.

I have a ML63 AMG from 2007 and I just bought a C63 AMG 2009 for my wife couple months ago - she just has her drivers license last month:eek: - so I hope she will not crash one of the cars hahaha….

My English is not always perfect so I do my best:)

A forum member - DadsC63 - has inspired me to pimp her car like he did, so I gonna make some post about it in my log…

Here are some pics of the C63 which soon I will modify everything about it.
She has a pearl white C63 performance package with original 487 hp.
I will soon add some carbon parts on the car...

How'd she lose her license, if you don't mind my asking?

Was it the C63's fault? :)

I mean at the time I bought that C63 for her, she has no drivers license.
She just got her drivers license now
So i am very afraid if she make a crash, because she has no experience…

Her first car…an AMG with 550 HP...:eek:

Fortunately, as long as she respects the power, they are easy to drive without getting into trouble. Good luck with the build, what are you planning on doing?

I will change some exterior parts into carbon, an interior like brabus with carbon parts too and place a modified BS-bodykit. There are so many things I want to change to make an one-of-kind-car
Most of them are done. I will post some pics later,….

Congratz! Such a lovely car. Let her take care of it..that car is a BEAST. The only thing I didnt like is your country's license plate man.. With all respect, the color of that plate is annoying. :P

Update: Akrapovic + CF parts
 

Actually, I want to change my ML63 2007 for a ML63 2010/11.
But the car salesman was so good with his mouth, he sold me a C63:hammer:
He said: why I change my ML for a newer one, with that money I could buy better a sedan so I have 2 AMG's, a SUV and a sedan. So I buy the C63 for my wife:nix:

And since my wife drive our dailey car (ML), she doesn't want to drive the C63 anymore, because she loves more to drive the ML than the C63.
So I decided to pimp that car. I hope you guys will love it, my wife said I am crazy…better buy some shoes and bags:naughty:

About the license plate in the Netherlands: Damn i hate that too man, in the US you have very nice plates, you can even put your name on it; here is not allowed man…

Here some updates I begin to change the C63. (sorry for the crappy pics, I did it all with my iPhone)

As you see I add a CF-spoiler, CF-mirrors and CF-diffuser, also the taillights I have replaced by darker lights.
Even the whole exhaust system I replace it with another: Akrapovic:)
They also replace my chip, so my engine has now more HP to 550HP

I have no pics, but they made on youtube a short movie you can hear that Akrapovic noise:


Soon there will be more updates about the interior turned into lot of CF

By the way: How I place pictures without thumbnails? They will be automatically places in thumbnails...

Nice mods but 550hp with just a tune and exhaust is a bit much ;)
I don't like only the dark taillights.

Andrew- Nice cars. I lived in The Netherlands.. be careful in the rain and ice on old cobblestone streets. The C63 is a lot of car for a new driver. I worked at Schipol, my office was next to a canal. Every winter cars would end up in the canal because they misjudged the turn, going too fast + slippery.

I lived in Wassenaar and drove the hwy A4 north to Amsterdam everyday! There are great drivers in Holland. Tot Ziens!

Hmmmm, the company that tuned up my car said with the chip tuning and the reduce weight of the Akrapovic provides me more HP to 550Hp, so I get 63 more Hp, i dunno know if is really true, but i feel the difference now…

@sinape62: So you lived in Holland, Wassenaar a wealthy neighborhood:)
We never drive the C63 in the rain, we only use it for summer. I don't want to make that white car dirty:D

Update: CF-interior
 

I changed some parts of the interior into carbon before the I changed the whole interior in the Brabus interior.
The steering wheel I will update later,...

- Instrument cluster
- Upper console plate
- Air vents left+right+middle

dont get a 2010-2011. get the newer ml63 biturbo its a rocket and has a ton more torque than the n/a 63 which suits an suv much better.

That takes a while for changing to the new type Biturbo, save money first after my C63 Project,...

The last part before the complete interior will be modified into "carbon" leather

Beautiful car & expensive taste in mods. U need the CF seat back covers now ;)

Thanks Roswell, since I saw the carbon parts for the first time, I wanna have it in my whole interior….got to say I am really crazy about it.:)

I thought the same too: cover up my back seats too into carbon, but when they placed the alcantara leather, I will leave it that way, it was too late.
But they made it very beautiful, you will love it….

Wow, this is going to be a one of a kind project! Can't wait to see the final product. The CF dash looks promising.

I knew this was gonna happen :) :) :)! it was obvious your wife would go for ML and you will go to town on that C63. Enjoy dude! btw, love that plush cat, inside the 550HP car, you gotta be getting lots of smiles about that! I certainly laughed when i saw that (in a good way). I think you should equip that plush cat with some shades, preferably with carbon fibre rims :D next time the cops stop you they would be confused, which would be hilarious

hahahaha, my wife loves hello kitty, you will be shocked if you see what I have done with the mercedes star logo in the hood and at the trunk.

Update: New Interior by Brabus Look
 

Here are the updates of the interior!
Finally the whole original has been replaced by full carbon leather in combination with alcantara like Brabus do:D

But this is not the end, I bought the Black Series kit and want to modify the kit, so it doesn't look too much to like a BS.

The interior in combination with the carbon parts is absolutely gorgeous!
My wife like my taste,…hehehe….but she still doesn't want to :zoom: with it:hammer:

WoW.. And I though my CF obsession was bad.. ;-) ...That's a l lot of detailed interior work. Well done Sir. Like the "AMG Special Addition" to the seat cover.

:crazy: My obsession is getting even worser for CF.

So I thought I will do the door handles, the window frames and roof frames into carbon as well…I hope you like it.

There is only one problem:
The Keyless-option will not work, so I have to close the door with my keys (which I always automatically do), but I can open it with my hand by pulling it:confused:
The carbon factory didn't knew that either when it is not working.
So I still choose for the carbon, I can live with that...
