So I'm still in discussions with my local dealer for a 507. He told me the prices are non negociable because it's a special edition... Is that true ? (note that in Canada the 507 is a whole package, pretty much all options included, so a little different than in the US I guess)

My second question is about the interior: I would really like to have the black+red interior, but it's not available in the 507. To get it, I would have to choose designo leather option, which seems like robbery to me since earlier models had that color combo as a free option. Is there an alternative?

Not true, your dealer is full of ****... several members in Canada have posted stories about negotiating price on a 507.

You might be out of luck on the leather options though, it is true that there are only a few options available on the 507 and the red/black two tone is not one of them.

I have a non 507, but I could have easily obtained the same percentage discount from the dealer for a car equipped with the P61 package.

Are you trying at Silverstar? Because west island still has the coupe in the showroom, maybe you can try a little back & forth negotiating?

That's bs, I've gotten $5000+ tx off my 507 (in Toronto) and got free mats and even $100 gc thrown in.

You should be able to do 5-6% off MSRP easy.

I think you'll be out of luck on your leather combination. AMG were very specific on what would be available....and that option was not one of them.

For the leather, that really sucks. I don't want to pay 3000$ for the same thing as the black/porcelain option, just to have red leather.

Remember...it was initially reported that MB would be producing the 507 for the full production year and would make as many were requested. Production of the 507 sedan will end along with November; which is a total of 4 or 5 months of production time. Now, my dealer said they can't order anymore 507's.

I'm surprised MB has shortened the run on the 507's and will be very interested to see what the final number of cars on the road will be.

The factories are being converted to W205 production, so it's no surprise that the production run is stopping so early. As for the 507's, we're starting to see them get discounted out west now for remaining stock, so there are deals to be had while they last.

Tell those yahoos that their job is to "sell" you a car. If they try and sell you a car that you want, chances are that you will buy it. Come down to Ottawa and I can hook you up with someone who will "sell" you a car.

Well if 507 production ends in November, what sort of C63 is still available for purchase?..Standard C63?, P31?, and will all original options still be available?

I think the 507 coupe is still going to be produced into January. The 507 packaged replaced the p31 option for MY14. Getting the base model would allow for the red leather option and greater ability to negotiate. A tune would allow for similar power to the 507.

Still OP shop around and travel a bit to get what you want. Thought I saw a forum member from California get a 507 from Florida (or vise versa). Never know what you might luck into.

So I went to another dealer, and they indeed offered me a discount on their 507, so that's good. Now I need to get rid of my 135i myself because the price they offered for it was ridiculous, but hey, it was a step in the right direction.

On a side note, it is not possible to order any new 507, allocations have been blocked. They may get more allocations in January, but it's far from a certainty.

There is 2 sedans (white & black) at MB in Gatineau, I'm sure u can get them at a good discount cuz winter is coming.. So they "probably" will want to move them. The black one looks spectacular cuz u don't see the stickers much & the black painted mirrors, trunk spoiler flows nicely on black. Lol

I know that MB Laval has a 507 sedan due to arrive in December; Polar White exterior with the black leather interior (non-alcantara). Not sure if they've sold it yet or not, but certainly check them out. Went there recently and they're certainly willing to deal.

I was not the one who bought it, but they told me they sold it. I didn't like the color combo . White interior is kinda nice though!

I still have several dealers to see (I'll definitely check the one in Laval, thanks firefox360!), I'm too busy at work to be able to keep up with the negociations I have to do.. Hopefully they won't all be sold by then! haha
