Does mhp headers employ standard gaskets and bolts?
Like the title says, can you just use the same fasteners that retained the stock manifolds, or do I need to order some header bolts from MHP?
Also, does anyone know if the stock manifolds are sealed to the heads with MLS "multi layered steel" gaskets? If so, I'll re-use the stock gaskets? Does anyone work on their own vehicles here? |
Get new mb gaskets and re use your nuts and studs. Might want to grab a few extra nuts and studs though just in case.

Its a multilayer gasket, no clue just grab them from mb dealer, they should have some in stock mine did.

I'll just re-use it if it's multi-layered, and steel. I'm 200 miles away from the nearest dealer. Those MLS gaskets last a long time and have personally reused them numerous times on other cars. Unless they look damaged when removing the stock manifolds.

Order in mail.
I wouldn't reuse them |
