so sad…..
So yesterday i was driving and i start feeling my wheels shake quite a bit so i look and i see my engine light is on. the vibration start getting bad so i pull over…and i see smoke coming outta my exhaust. i turned my car off for a bit, and when i tried to turn it back on i heard a clicking noise and the car wouldn't start….bad way to end the night. any suggestions as what this may be caused by??

White smoke means there is coolant in your engine bro. Cold be the headbolts failed. Hope not, if your still in warranty, go to MB and have them take a look.

is the head bolt failure common is the 2011 models? and also yeah it was white smoke…so it may be that. the car is at a shop right now..so i hope its nothing too serious

Your car should still be under factory warranty. Hopefully the shop you are referring to is the MB dealership or else you might have to pay lots of additional to have the car shipped back to MB service for warranty work.

The severe engine vibration, smoke out of the exhaust and the fact that it wouldn't turn over afterwards usually indicate a pretty serious failure. As Shades said, white smoke likely means that you're burning coolant, and if you drive it like that for a while it can easily damage the bearings and other internal components. Did you check to see if the oil looked milky/frothy by any chance?
