Any RHD headers for sale?
Hey guys,
Figured I'd give it a shot. Looking at putting headers on my 09 '63 here in Sydney, Australia.
Anyone got a set available?
Thanks,
Dan

I've been through the same thing.
I am from Sydney and these are your options.
1. Sonny, approx. $8k full system.
2. iPE full valve tropic system $8k approx.
3. Ramspeed system, $15-17k depending on what you choose.
I went an iPE system because it is valvetronic, will you notice a difference in power between all 3, no. I have run 11.80 1/4 mile, Sonnys system has done 11.79 or 11.78, RNZ has done 11.75.
You won't be disappointed in either of them.
If you want headers only, get the cargraphic or iPE headers.
Where in Sydney you from?

Yeah I've googled the difilipo ones but had no idea what they were worth.
Thanks Charlie, appreciate the info. It's pretty ridiculous what they charge for this sort of **** imo. Full exhaust for any other v8 would be no more than half that price.
I live in St Leonards, drive it every day. Only got a tune and x-pipe on it now, just wondering if it's worth going headers or not. I'm guessing not

It's about 6800 for the full system headers to tips for difilipo
Not a bad price if you ask me
Problem is that it's loud a lot louder than mine and Charlie's
Rns11s has a similar setup and run 4 4 inch hot dogs to keep it quiet
Headers is the best option that's where you will gain the most power but you will need a retune and possibly new oxy sensors
I think I know a guy that has a pair of ipe headers for sale 2nd hand for about 2k
If your serious about them I can message him and ask him for you
Just so you know difilipo has 2in collcter ipe is 1.78in

Awesome, thanks for that info. I'll try them again next week and see.
As for the headers, sure that'd be great! Any reason why he pulled them off?
Cheers

Thanks guys, interesting info! Thought Sonny had a custom long-tube system while DeFilipo, Cargraphic and iPE were all the same product made in Taiwan. Good to know. IPE is the only system offered in the UK, I believe, so great to hear this input.
Does anybody have a rough guess what the db level is for such a system with 200-cell primaries and rest standard (maybe x-pipe too)? Tracks in the UK are very stringent with noise monitoring, so worth knowing if this is anywhere near acceptable?

Call Lambros at Hitech/Mille Miglia mufflers in Sydney. They custom build 63 headers. I have a set on my C63 Black Series and they are the best sounding ones by far in that the volume is not insane. He has plenty of dyno sheets to show you gains as well. I can vouch for him 1000%. They are best made ones out there.
