European Facelift LED Tail Lights
Hello,
Does anyone know the OEM part numbers or does anyone know where I could find the part numbers to the Left side and Right side European version of the 2012 LED facelift tail lights?(The lights with the orange LED blinker)
Thank you.
*Sorry for the same thread here as in the Non-AMG forum, it seems as if they have no idea since I never got a reply.*

They have these on ebay, i just picked up a pair for my car. I went with the red smoke tails instead of the clear red OE look. They also have the orange signals as well.

I would save a ton and and go with these my friend...no coding required, just plug and play. Entirely up to you, but for the price you can't go wrong. For the coding, i really don't know, that's why i stayed away from changing them for so long. Try a search on these forums for coding, you might have some luck

Thanks about the coding part, I will indeed browse around and hopefully find someone to do it. I heard some guy named Whipple could do it, but he isn't available at this time. Hopefully some guy who can code these lights will respond. I will indeed pay money for the coding to be done perfectly.

Okay, So I have two options:
A.) Reprogramming my current 2011 rear SAM unit with the 2012 LED coding, so that I could have the fog lamps off.(Requires my SAM unit to be coded inside a 2012 "facelift" w204)
B.) Buy a 2012 programmed rear SAM unit so that the LED tail lights work without the fog lamps being on.
Would you, or anyone on here know the part number to the 2012 rear SAM? If not, links to the 2012 Rear SAM will be appreciated.(Used SAM unit would be better since I would not have to program it)

I confirm. Getting the rear SAM coded or using a pre-programed facelift rear SAM will fix the lighting issue.

The only downside to this is guaranteed to be pricey.

I feel like an idiot for asking - what is a SAM? Also I saw a gentleman driving a W212 facelift with rear amber indicators, US spec, in Orange County, CA. I really wanted to stop and ask what he had to do.

I emailed mbenznl.com about ordering the 2012 Facelift LED Tail lights and they were very nice and got back with me quickly about pricing and all. Then I explained to them that in order for these tail lights to work, I need a 2012 programmed Rear SAM. This is my only setback. Once again, they got back with me fast and said they will see what they can do regarding the rear SAM, so hopefully I may be in luck.

Good luck to anyone who attempts to make this happen.
