Darwin Award - Young, Dumb, Full of C**

Oh... To be young again and think that driving on the passenger side wheels while removing the driver side wheels is a good idea...

"Drifting" in Saudi now being banned?!? I say let them weed themselves out naturally.

I wonder what happened after they removed the front wheel? Or when they reached their destination/stopped?

I'm curious as to how they even get their cars up on two wheels in the first place? Ramps?

And why are they calling this drifting?

The obvious answer is...

Why not

I'll play along.

All of these answers are applicable:
It's stupid
It's dangerous to the participants
It's dangerous to anyone in the vicinity of these retards
It's a waste of functional vehicles
It's stupid (needed to say it twice for emphasis)

I completely agree, but the typical answer to "Why" is always "Why not"
Which is what I provided..

In theory, this could have been a race, and they were changing the tire on the move... or stunt drivers practicing for an event in a controlled environment (I know it is not).

But you have to admit, from a skill perspective, that is pretty impressive

my wife bananas! :D
there is some serious skill here... you just never know when you need this obvious life skill.

for instance, you somehow run over some massive spikes and the tires on one side of the car is toast.. 100% gone. you are in the middle of nowhere and there is absolutely no one to call in to help. so what can you do? you proceed to run on two wheels home...

as an aside... yes it is dangerous.. but it is still rather neat to see. what this law does is to make sure this type of stuff only happens in a private track / area... and that is cool with me

WRC faced all these criticism and can at times be more dangerous than this. Not every skilled/talented person would have a shot at high level racing. It's stupid, it's dangerous, and it's interesting.

Isn't that the recipe for ALL forms of motor racing? These guys are just chasing the adrenaline rush all daredevils, race car drivers, etc... are looking for.

I wish instead of limiting them, they invest in focusing these wasted talents into actual competitions in enclosed roads, tracks, etc...

@Dogtag114, very tasteless comment this one, " I say let them weed themselves out naturally."

Those are just buncha bored guys, trying to have fun and live their lives no different than you and I.

Agreed. I also concede that in my youth I did a few things that in later life I can't believe. Thankfully, I never thought of going down the road on two wheels............

Btw- only tongue and cheek humor implied on my part... No anger or tastelessness intended... I also concede there is some serious skill needed to go with the bad judgement...
