2013 c63 buying advice
hi everyone i am looking into buying a new 2013 c63. There is a dealer where i live which still has 4 c63 from 2013. I was wondering how much of a discount other people were getting on leftover 2013 models. Another thing to note do you guys think i could get more of a deal now since in 6 months or so the new 2015 c class will coming out? thx

Being in the Car/Powersport business, as the sales manager, left over non current models are way better of a deal. The discounts that are advertised are also given to the dealer. Plus they want to dump old stock. When on a floor plan (manufacturer to dealer line of credit) interest is charged every month. On a car of that price I would expect at least a 5k off easily. I haven't checked what the current discounts are on them, if you fill me in I can help more... Not to mention the probably 5k of profit they start with... They have to gross a certain amount for the owner to be happy with the manager... I would say scoop one of the 13's up before they are gone

Keep in mind, this is the WORST dealer on customer service - I've never had a good experience there, mostly ignored - even as I've brought in many cars for service in the past. In appears as if all the sales guys there are waiting for a rich person to walk in and be a price insensitive buyer...it's even worse now that it was take over.

Invoice on that car is about $75k, and I think the cash out money on left over C class was $2500. I don't think a discount of $7500 would be out of the question.
Have you inquired about the car?

They probably have 5-7k profit on that car so $2500 rebate plus squeeze another 4k off they should take the deal. And if you aren't paying cash and end up financing it the financing commission alone is around 1500$ so they will make a quick 2500-5000 profit without you taking life and dis ins. Or warranty. Btw Life and dis ins they make a cool 50% on. I would call 10 closest dealers on the phone and ask them there best out the door price before walking in ready to buy... Some dealers might pull their pants down a bit.... First one to talk loses

yea i have made in inquire on the car, i also emailed them an offer of 65k outright they called me today saying if i could come down so i can speak to there sales manager. I told them i would come down over the weekend and see it. I also know that the car has been sitting on there lot for over 250 days... Other dealers in my area only have coupes for sale that are 2014 models they are asking 75k msrp

$7500 is about the full markup before you get into holdback. I can't see where any resonable dealer would want to sit on left over 2013 anything considering MB has dropped support for all remaining 2013s.
250 days a lifetime if that dealer floor plans his new cars.

hey there. i bought a '13 P31 at MB WC last June that had an MSRP of $83.5 and I paid $73k.
You should get that one for $70k or less all day. YMMV.

+1 on at least $10k+ off MSRP.

You were completely right about there customer service. I went down there today and they wouldn't budge on the price at all, they wanted 79k which was only 2k off the sticker price of the car. They said it was a fair deal since the car was fully equipped.... They also told me that they don't plan on discounting the car at all until summer when the 2015 model comes out. Then they tried to sell me a cla45 which was 57k! I just sighed and said thx for wasting my time and left.
Sorry dude that sux...and is just plain stupid. It was only 4 months ago I picked up a 2014 507 for $4500 off sticker...no idea what they are thinking.
Keep looking....you will get your car, everyone always does.

yeah I did I even told them that there were 507 editions for sale at other dealers for a cheaper price, they didn't seem to care at all . I really doubt that anyone is going to buy the car at that price, so when they call me back in a few days I'm going to offer them an even lower price.

bro, they are not being realistic.
as I said, i bought a loaded 2013 P31 sedan with everything except Parktronic and Distronic from them last summer (2013). Was $83.5k and I walked out with it at $73k before TTL. Unfortunately, the sales mgr I dealt with is no longer there per their site. Go to another dealer and get the price you want.
