The fact that they're made overseas keeps the manufacturing costs down, so at the end of the day you end up with a wheel that's somewhere in between cast wheels and forged ones, both in terms of strength and price.
Ah. Good to know . Thanks!!!

You get what you pay for, Forgestars come at a great price and are lightweight but they aren't going to be as strong as higher end wheels

Plus with forgestars you have to wait atleast 5 months + a **** load of mis-communication before you even get the rims....FS told me the powder coated had to re-done the rims atleast 10 times then it went to the rims needed parts...you'll probably just ask for a refund like i did and get better wheels

Just wanted to share how awesome HRE customer service is.. I bought some P40SC from a member in FL, and the wheels are stuck at Canada Customs right now in TO cuz they need the NAFTA certificate proving the country of origin of the wheels.

So I decided to email Saturo at HRE, and within 15 minutes he emailed me the certification, regardless the fact I didn't purchase the wheels new from them (or their distributor). Props to HRE for the help & support when I needed the most.

I love the SSR SP3s. They look so good on a Mercedes.

Wheels are all about personal preference, like buying a car make over another one. No right or wrong, just make sure you buy from a good dealer in case you need after sales support.
Hit the nail on the head of this industry.
