Interesting. The check was dated 1/11/14 but it wasn't mailed until Feb. 20th.
Is it possible the hood was damaged in shipment and he was waiting for the shipper to reimburse him before refunding you?

he is the shipper . he said he sells parts along with his "business partner" . the hood that he posted on the ad was black and in perfect shape and the one I received was grey and wrecked . I don't care what his excuse is or what medical issues he has , it shouldn't have taken this much to get $464.00 back . I just got back from the bank so we will see in the next couple of days on whether the check is good or not

I would've just went to the bank he uses and tried to cash the check at the teller. You'll find out quicker if he has money and you'll also avoid having a returned check with your own bank.
Hopefully it goes through or I'm gonna have to go back and leave a new note

he's probably trying to show he made the check out a while back but the envelope says it all.....20th happens to be the day after Guilty gave him the note .

Hopefully it goes through without issue. The guy must have been stunned to get that note. I wish I could have seen his face when he read it. lol
