C 63 In LIMBO...new rims question, HELP!!!

hello, I am new to the forum so bare with me.....my rims just came in today and unbeknownst to me all four of the rim are 19x8 +45 offset and to my knowledge i thought fronts and rears are different specs....i called the seller to clarify and told me that i can run all fours with tires 235/35/19s?....any truth in the matter? any help would be awesome... FYI i have a 2012 c63....thanks in advance

You can run a square set up but the question is 'do you really want to!'. Most guys/gals want more traction and rubber on the rear so a 265/30 or 275/30 wide tire and you will need a 9.5" or 10" wheel with an offset between +50 to +55 to accomplish this. The wheels you have are fine for the front but not ideal for the rear. They will however make good winter wheels with 235/35/19 all around.

Here are the rims I purchased if it helps...more input if possible as I plan to call the seller early AM..thanks again

I would send them back.

According to the link you posted the widths are staggered 8 front and 9 rear and the offsets are 35 front and 40 rear. I would not get those either. Even the specs within the add change depending on where you look within the add. These are cheap knock offs good for winter wheels only.

Thanks again....offset for fronts and rears?

8x19 with 35 offset will be ok with 235 or 245 in front.
9x19 with 40 offset in the rear is probably too aggressive and would rub unless you go with stretched tires. But that is not you want in the rear. Maybe ET 45 will fit ok :nix:.
Either way the ad is not clear in regards to the offsets and width. Is it a set of 4 8x19 or 8x19 + 9x19? Is the offset +45 all around or 35 F and 40 R?

I would send them back where they came from and go with a proper staggered setup!

I was under the impression on whatever the description said but I received all 4 of them 19x8 +45 setup..=/

wow, I just signed on to post about these wheels.

I live in NJ where the roads are horrific. I have ruined my fair share of HRE, Forgiato, Brabus wheels.

I was thinking about going for a replica and if they get f'd up so be it.

But I am happy I read this and did not go thru with my order.

Anyone know of any other 507 type wheels around?

I'm from jersey as well....I basically barrelled into a pot hole and bent two of my rims. Where in jersey are you from?

roccoam77 03-18-2014 08:32 PM

Ramsey, Bergen County. You?

disguyyy 03-18-2014 08:40 PM

Northern Sussex county

I am stock now, just picked it up less than a week ago.

How do the wheels themselves look?

disguyyy 03-18-2014 08:55 PM

wheels are actually not bad for replicas, center caps are cheap looking though..
