Brake Calipers Painted!!

They are in the mail and headed my way thanks to Tal @ ACGAutomotive! I understand they are really close to the carbon brakes but I have just been a huge fan of that color so rolled with it.

That's a great color. Mine would have been painted that color by ACG back in Dec. except for the core calipers never being sent to ACG by the customer before me. Congrats...

Stupid question.
。。that's the break? Or the caliper? If I take that off, can I still drive my car?

That is the caliper and no...your brake pads are housed in them. If you want ACG to paint yours contact Tal at ACGAutomotive and ask about their core swap program. That program allows for no car downtime.

I will have someone install them cause I don't know enough about bleeding brakes.

I installed mine. It's DIY-able.

Sweet! I'm right behind you. What is a reasonable price to pay someone to take them off and put them back on?

W204 C63 Coupe, W166 ML350 BlueTEC, 928GT, C5 Z06 & IS300 race cars, EQE 4Matic+ on order
Please tell me they didn't paint over the bleed nipple... that second pic doesn't look quite right.

Let's get you taken care of when you can finally bring the car back down!

It's just painters tape covering the nipple. No worries

???

yes, you can drive it, just can't stop it

that is the brake caliper
not the brake rotor, the brake pad(s) (although they are housed in the brake caliper) or any one of the many other brake system components

all components of the brake system...pretty much screwed without any one of them

Was that a serious question?
