ford svt's, and C63!!!
weighed car last night.
With 1/4 tank of fuel, and nobody inside, the car weighed 3860lbs. I was under the impression these thing weighed over 2 tons??? Either way I was happy to see a somewhat light weight. Anybody know the weight of new Camaros, challengers?

We weighed my wife's challenger. 4200 lbs. and you feel every single one of them.

for the dimensions I feel it still seems pretty much more on the heavier side. like m3's come around 3700 pounds. my Porsche 996 comes in at 3100 pounds. the Audi S4 is 3800 AWD. seems like very little to strip from these cars to get them on diets but then again that's why the manufacturers just keep putting more HP to compensate.

My mustang was around there. Do you have a sedan or coupe?? If it's a sedan I'm truly impressed!

Very nice! Thanks for taking the time to do that, OP.
Excellent data point for the community.

3860 is spot on..mine came in at around the same, yet some people on this forum love to think the c63 weights 4000+ with no one in it, these cars are smaller then an M3 coupe, I know because I parked because a new M3 one day and the M3 sits way higher and is wider and longer

Maybe using headers and straight pipes reduces a little, from the manifolds, and 4 cats? I used the scale at our highway department heading out of town here in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Also me, and my wife got out to see what the car alone weighed. I'd guess that if the coupe and sedan are still the same exact dimensions, maybe the sedan would weigh a tad less. I know big doors on a lot of 2 door vehicles tend to weigh "alot", but there's also twice as many lol??

I was a tad below 1/4 tank of fuel, and no weight savings at all, still had spare tire and everything.

Interesting ... I recently installed a braille 21 battery and remove the spare tire as well and oh boy..... I can feel the difference from the butt dyno. So I wonder how much I'm right now. No headers but 2nd cat removed. Now I need to find a similar scale in my area
By the way removing the heavy OEM battery fixed the rubbing issue that i had on the rear passenger side since I installed my KW!lol! I set them a little lower than my previous H&R springs set up but was lazy to readjust. So this saves me a saturday afternoon
