Change/ remove steering wheel - question and help!
I'm in the process of changing my steering wheel, took the air bag off nice and easy. Now trying to remove the bolt that holds the steering wheel to the car, it won't budge !
Am I missing something? Or are these bolts bolted with a really high torque ?
Thanks!

Mine was the same. I couldn't move it so I took it to the dealership a few days later- it came off without a problem... I looked like an idiot.
I don't know if it's because I drove 100km in-between the tries or what.

Hmmm...
I'll try warming up the bolt a little and see if that helps and a bigger / longer wrench.
Do you know if anything else needed to be removed to get the steering wheel off?

it's on there pretty tightly, just put your shoulder into it. or, like you said, get a longer wrench for more leverage.

Yeah you only need to remove your airbag and unscrew the middle bolt.
That one was really tight. I had to use a 1/2 torque wrench which gave me good leverage to undo it.

I managed to remove the bolt - 1/2 drive 10mm hex bit and a steel pipe over my ratchet did the job. I also see why the bolt is a one time use only, the part around the corners of of the hex in the bolt 'bends' a little and I can see little bumps from the force of removing it.
