C63T AMG from Germany
Hi Guys,
here`s my new car & project. C63 AMG estate from 2011 with PP+ (487HP). It took me much time to find an C63 not black/black. I already changed some things on this car - and keep going. Hope you like it and have some new ideas for me :) First shoot after buy http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/4048/ad7z.jpg http://img541.imageshack.us/img541/2364/2mjw.jpg Installed double cup holder and iPhone holder http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/7080/fxtq.jpg http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/3017/su8v.jpg Installed emblem at fender and code 942 http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/6687/97bi.jpg http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/1514/ydn5.jpg Facelift rear lights http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/3899/1l50.jpg dyno test before ecu tune http://s1.directupload.net/images/140521/ducadf35.jpg Facelift speedo is waiting to be installed and coded http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/8077/51mx.jpg |
Installed OZ Ultraleggera 8,5x19 & 9x19 with 235/255 MPSS and facelift grill

Also i ordered those stripes from the Edition 507 http://ag-spots-2013.o.auroraobjects...13101116_3.jpg Hope you like it :-) |
Welcome to the Estate life! hahaha
Mate, brilliant looking car. Love your interior. Its spot on. So, that cluster, thats the one with colour display in the centre? Where did you obtain that from? I didint think they would fit? Who will do your coding? What did you have in the centre before the cupholders? Also, 507 stripes, what colour did you go for? Did you order through Benz dealer? Subscribed! |
If that instrument cluster gets coded and works, I'm going to be all over that.
|
Great looking car
There's just something special about 500 HP estate/ wagon |
Thanks!
@ AMG893: Yes, the cluster is from the Edition 507, so it`s facelift. Bigger center display and with color. That guy who will code it for me also told me that it will fit with small change. We`ll see next week:) In the center there was the same hole but without these "butterflies" in the middle. Something about 20 EUR. Called double cup holder at mercedes. I choose matt black for the stripes, so same as my wheels are. I think will fit good together. I don`t found that stripe in the EPC so i have a guy printing for me the same stripes in color i want. @ JPetros2008: Code the cluster is much more work then other things like lights. First the cluster has to be NEW. The millage will be imported automatically, but all the services not! So you have to connect the computer to the main server from mercedes and input ALL services manuell. Duration about 2 hours only for coding. But they already did it multiple so it will work. Stay tuned :y |
Car looks great! I love the estates.
|
Thank you LakeShow!
|
Sick love these power estates. Don't really need one however might would buy because it`s sick haha! make sure to post some pics after intstalling the tacho, I´m sure many would like to see it and know how you pulled it off.
|
Wish you good luck, and waiting news about facelift speedo installing and coding, please pm me after!!!
Thank you!!!!! |
Where did you buy the rear lights? Looks awesome!
|
Rear lights oem from the MB Dealer.
|
I wonder if you'll get the facelift command as well when installing the speedo?
Facelift display and everything :nix:... just curious to know how it will turn out. Keep us posted :y |
I wish people in Canada can code that speedo...
|
Yes, facelift comand from W204 or the latest comand from W212 can also be fit and coded into the earliest W204 - no problem.
Also things like the new ILS from facelift, Lane assist, assist blind spot,...all that stuff from the last models can be coded and installed.:) If somebody wants coding for cluster ore something else let me know - i will ask if its possible to code for you here and send you the parts:y |
Great car Anatoli - You only need some better photos :y
Just one question - aren't all these upgrades and coding expensive? Wouldn't it be easier to just get a 2012 C63 ? |
No, upgrades are not as expensive as supposed.
If you can do a lot by yourself its ok. I was looking specially for the last pre facelift model! First reason is cause of the better cooling with the "old" front bumper. With the facelift bumper the cooling for the motor is getting worse then before. Also the "older" transmission i loke more...with the MCT you always (can) have the problem of roughter shiftings, with the old one there is no problem. Better pics will come after installing the suspension:) Thanks:y |
Looks great anatoli.
Now you make me want to change to the pre facelift bumper. Hate that oil cooler fan! |
FL cluster installed.
Suspension KW V3 installed. Some fat for non rust. Cluster is working perfect, no error. Mileage is correct, also alle service intervalls. The fl cluster didn`t fit into my dashboard. First try - use the fl cluster (inner life) and the pre fl case. Worked great, but the sign for turn lights are on the pre fl case. But the fl cluster has the sign in the cluster! So i had the sign twice. Didn`t like it. So we found a not used GLK fl cluster. It has the same case but without the sign:) Now everything looks perfect, i am happy:y fl cluster with my old pre fl case http://s14.directupload.net/images/140601/pwudjbkh.jpg fl cluster with glk fl case http://s1.directupload.net/images/140601/qqzvi6fe.jpg http://s1.directupload.net/images/140601/9pllv5ub.jpg suspension http://s1.directupload.net/images/140601/i6cksugo.jpg http://s1.directupload.net/images/140601/wq95a34x.jpg some fat:D http://s14.directupload.net/images/140601/5gjen9p7.jpg |
Nice job Anatoli :y The cluster looks great.
I hope you'll give that estate a serious drop on those V3s ;) |
Beautiful car and great mod list!
|
Thanks.
I will post pics later. First i have to adjust the V3 perfect. Now its in the front a little bit higher then in the back. Don't like :D |
Nice work! It seems so easy for you on that side of the pond (codes and updates).
Is this being coded through a dealer? What part of Germany are you in? Beautiful country and, from experience, most people are genuine. I'm looking forward to my next visit. |
Thanks!
No, a Dealer can't do this. There are only i think 2-3 persons in Europa can Code things linke that. I am from the South of Germany, called Baden Württemberg. Let me know when you makes holidays, perhaps we can meet :) |
Nice build! I love the C63 Wagon- only wish we got them in America. I'm really liking your interior color and mods as well!
|
Thank you very much!
|
Updated Cluster is awesome!
|
Subscribed. Love the mods.
|
|
Looks great :y but I think the front is higher than the rear.
Also I think you should darken the top part of the car to match the black wheels ;) Nice mods Anatoli. |
Hi :)
Yes, front is 10mm higher. But we are not done yet with setting up the high. Give me some time :D What you mean with "darken the top part of the car"? What part? Don`t forget the Edition507 stripes coming in matt black...:naughty: |
I mean this part :y The windows and maybe the chrome window trim.
Have you thought about getting the optional OEM C63 Estate spoiler ? Pic --> https://i.imgur.com/m4MDRUy.jpg http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/6-02-2014/Vze24r.gif |
Yes, window tint is cool, like it.
But here in Germany ist not allowed... Whats the difference between your and mine spoiler?? |
1 Attachment(s)
Tint is not allowed in Germany? I think it's not allowed only in the front right?
My spoiler goes on top of the original spoiler. It looks more aggressive in the back. It's an OEM option from Mercedes for W204 Estate. I'll see if I can find more pics for you. EDIT: Anatoli, have a look at these pics: http://imgur.com/a/KWdwD Attachment 446531 |
Thanks, i will compare this pic to my Car.
Yes, in the front it`s not allowed. But i don`t linke when tinted only in the back. Either complete or no tint. *edit can`t see a difference to mine... |

EDIT: Anatoli, have a look at these pics: http://imgur.com/a/KWdwD https://i.imgur.com/syd7m3e.jpg I was wondering if you have photos of the OEM rear wing for the S212? I've been looking all over online but can only find the stock photos. |
Sorry I don't have pics of the S212 spoiler. To be honest, I wasn't aware that this spoiler was available for the S204 until a year ago.
Mercedes hasn't advertised it anywhere. |
|
Blacking out the chrome bits is quite common. I vote yes.
But only if you wrap the grill, roof rack, grille, and foglights :y |
We`ll see.
First i want to install the 507 sticker. Want to see the sticker with oem look... |
Yesterday i was at wwmotorsport.
http://www.wwmotorsport.de/indexe.htm Wolfgang setup my coilovers KW V3. Amazing what difference!!! Love the car more then ever :y |
Got a part number for that C63T spoiler?

Yes, Part of Code 942.
Found it on ebay. |
Great work on your estate! I love it.
Definitely vote for blacking out the window trim. |
Go for the black window surrounds but you need to do the roof rack as well, too much of a clash otherwise.
|
Thanks for the P/N
Agree with Steve Richo. |
wow nice car & nice moods :) also like my wagon :)
|
I`ll try black windows next week...
I installed right side of Edition 507 Sticker - left side follow. When done i post better pictures when car is clean :D http://s7.directupload.net/images/140616/fg4spmme.jpg http://s14.directupload.net/images/140616/dbbhcul5.jpg |

Anatoli, do you think it's possible to install the 360 view camera from the 2014 E-class in a 2012 C63 Estate?
|
Yes, it`s possible.
Depend on how much you wants to invest and if you have guys can help you installing and coding. My guy i spoke to told me, - he can install everything you can find in the FL W212. So the latest features can run in the W204. But a lot of work. |
First of all Beautiful Car and mods!
Can you ask your guys if the cameras of the 360view on the w212 go directly to the Comand, or they go to a camera ecu and it connects to the Comand?. Also, will it require to change the Comand unit for one of a W212? (I ask this because late 2013 models and 2014 came with NTG4.7) Thanks, and keep moddind!! |
I know guys here in germany running current comand from W212 in the w204, so thats no problem.
As he told me all the signals going to the cluster. The cluster is "the head" of community. Depend on what year the W204 is there are installed either the "old" control boxes (so from W211, C219, W204 or the new one (after year 2011) from the W212. If you have the old ecu you have to replace them - if you have the W212 ecu you can code it. One of the guys - check this:) http://www.motor-talk.de/blogs/benzsport |
Thanks Anatoli!!!, it was exactly as I thought!!.
Worst case scenario, I have to change my cluster (KI) to make this work. Thanks again!! |
subscribe! way too sick !~
|
Hey Toli, nice to see you and your estate over here :y
|
Thanks guys, hey Dome :-)
|
hey we've got the same colour Estate :)
have you wrapped your window trim yet? i'm about to do it next week and will be doing the roof rails at the same time too. do you know if there's a way to remove the roof rails? |
nice build
|
Window wrapped not yet. I`m going to do approx this week.
Will post pics :-) |
|
Gorgeous C63T Anatoli
Loving this car |
Thank you :-)
|
Beautiful!
Love the estate! |
Thanks.
Still waiting for some time to tint the windows and complete the 507 Sticker left side... |
Saturday was time for a new World Record at the Nürburgring :y
257 Mercedes Benz cars in line at the Nürburgring. Was a great day - some impressions :) |
Dude - those images don't load for us, the site you have hosted them on is not accessible, probably only works for members of that site.

One question, where is your single fin grill from? Also, did it fit without modification? |
Thank you cjopenshaw :)
I bought the grill from eBay.co.uk Here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_od...hrome&_sacat=0 No modification needed:y |
You have just converted me into liking wagons.

Very nice , sorry to bother you but I've been trying to find these exact wheels in North America and I can't . In that size and et we're did you purchase them from ? And do they have anymore ? :D

Thats a nice estate.
The build is nice as well. |
Every mod on your car is well thought through. I like it :y
But You definitely need some carbon fibre mirrors ;) |
@L8brker: Bought from Italy. Yes, they have more :)
Need a link or help? PM me. @N4S: Thank you very much! Matt - thanks :y CF Morrors? Don't know...cause that will be the only carbon Parts installed. I like it when you have more Parts in same color/cf as for example cf spoiler or lip. Have to think about it, i'm looking to find a lip... |

As Dome said, you also need the right column.
- without cruise control, without Memory: A212 900 7703 - without c c, with Memory: A212 900 8103 - with c c, without Memory: A212 900 7502 - with c c, with Memory: A212 900 7702 All parts for sedan, not estate! Estate has different parts cause of the back wiper. Matt, i'll let you know ;) |

Thanks for all the info guys, but isn't the w212 column needed only if you want the buttons to light up?

That's right, so actually there really is a problem with your wheel :nix:
So no coding is required for the steering wheel to work (without light under the buttons)? |
Matt, you changed the column?
Cause there are two different kinds of steerig wheels. One (Code 802) is working without the column, only no button lights. The other need the column, otherwise the steering wheel will not work. No button, no paddles, no lights, nothing! So check your steering wheel and install the column. |
That's really useful info Anatoli ! Thanks :y
Do you know where on the steering wheel I can find the code? I'll look at the steering wheel tomorrow evening when I get home. |
I think this code is not on the steering wheel but i don`t know.
Normally you find codes with the VIN decoder... |
New Facelift PP Steering wheel installed - works :y
No problem with lights or paddles, i`m happy. Such a great steering wheel - big difference to the old one :) I changed the column, the steering wheel and airbag. 5 minutes to install. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...da23603b5f.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...91b8a600e5.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...c17f88aad2.jpg |
Looks perfect. Matches your 507 alcantara knob.
I have an OEM leather airbag cover if you need one :) |
Yes Matt.
I had Option to choose between normal and leather Airbag. The normal i liked more with the Alcantara steering Wheel. |

I am always looking for carbon trim.
Either buy a oe trim or custom made like i had on my w210 before...:-) |
I cleaned my leather interieur - now it`s like new :)
Tried a new cleaning medium and i`m happy:y https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...6a1551edd6.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...8990afa7fb.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...1e8ac2549c.jpg |
looking good Anatoli, wheel looks awesome and a great upgrade.:y
|
Thanks!
|
Looking great!
Whats your 'new' method? |
I tried a lot of different cleaning mediums and never was happy.
Yes, it was clean, but not perfect. After that i get a medium for cleaning kitchen. All friends use it. So i tried - and worked out fine. Everything is clean! |
Did you use any leather conditioner afterwards?
Such kitchen cleaning products make the leather very dry. I use a special leather cleaning product with conditioner - it's really amazing. It's called Lederzentrum Colourlock. https://www.lederzentrum.de/tip/engl...rleathers.html |
Yes, i know the guys from Lederzentrum very well.
And i tried all products (soft and hard cleaner) they have. Even the cleaning benzine couldn't help me. And of course i used after cleaning some conditioner to make the leather smooth and not dry. Now it's really like new. Normal i use cleaner and conditioner from Lexol. |
So what the current name of cleaner that you use in your new method?!

Agree with you - that`s the reason i`m planing it ;-)
You have a very very nice car!! Still have chrome around fog lights :-D |
My first try using external microfone with my GoPro:) |
I wish I could have the standard 19" wheels like you have taken off but in Europe they are sooooo hard to get!

19" wheels must be the hardest thing to get for a C63 lol

Although there is a particular set I would like, if they come up again when the timing is right. |
I can not find any 19" at all. All are replicas and been told to get AMG originals as replicas jwill just break.

Yes the reps I would steer clear off, plenty of quality aftermarket style 19" available though. Is it just multi spokes your after then I take it ? |
yeah just like the ones in your picture

Friend of mine runs an Indy MB specialist in the UK so sees a bit of stuff passing through from time to time, will ask him to keep an eye out :y |
Great stuff. I dont mind if they need a refurb if the price is right. I am only in the west Mids so not that far.

@ Dazzagt: You can order fog rings separately at your dealer.
That`s what a am going to do too. Yes, they chrome - but easier to paint/plasti dip when new and no clip is broken... |

Great car! I love the contrasting exterior/interior color combination. I'm also looking for a car like yours, late year w204 c63 with performance package, but I live in Taiwan so the search is going slow. Looking forward to see what else you will be modding!
|
Thanks mungwi!

Oh wow!!! Car is looking very very nice!!!
|
Thank you!
|
Anatoli and AMG893. I am following in your foot steps and are updating my Pre Face lift instrument cluster to the Face lift version.
I have already purchased the cluster and expect it here in the next few days. Would you be able to point me in the right direction to the shop(s) you used to code it to your car? I would like to ask what needs to be done in order for it to work 100% correctly in my 2010 C63. Appreciate your help, Kris |
Kriston, you have PM.
|
Very nice Antoli :y
Look forward to seeing the new bonnet :D |
Hope i can get one...still waiting for answer :-(

I installed a 20 Watt, 4x CREE LED (BAU15s) Bulb for turn light. No error message. Flashing is really fast, bright light as well! Try to take a short video at night :) Next projects planned: :y - install control knob from W204 facelift - build a special cover for clima control - install W212 Thermotronic clima control - build a special connector betweet Comand and monitor - install W212 Facelift Comand NTG 4.5 or 4.7 (depend on what i find) - install secondary-cat-delete pipes https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...873a08cc06.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...95a5efed22.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...bf11c610e3.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...af15f554db.jpg Only thing i`m missing is time... Let me know what you guys think :) |
Very NICE!
Do you have photos of the interior after installing: - install control knob from W204 facelift - build a special cover for clima control - install W212 Thermotronic clima control |
Yes, as soon i installed the parts i will upload pics ;-)
|
Ok, Thank you
Can't wait to see how it will look and what it will take to make it work. |
Anatoli: I found someone on this forum that also swapped out climate control on their W204 from W212. You probably saw the link but here it is if you have not seen it: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...c-class-3.html
*I wonder if anything needs to be modified or programed... Let me know how it goes with your swap. Thanks |
|
|
Turn signal now is much better, knob looks good 👍
|
Thank you!
Next parts should arrive this week :-) |
Anatoli, I received my W205 steering wheel and airbag today, LOVE IT! Next thing I need is the steering column.
https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...21cecea0e9.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...95ba23efa1.jpg |
New Steering Wheel looks perfect! Is this brown or black leather?
Column you can find at eBay or dealer, before make sure you know the part number you need. I am also looking for this steering wheel, but with alcantara/leather. Can you PM me where you bought it? :y |
Thank you, I love it! It's black leather with black leather stitched airbag. Yes I'll PM you where I bought it.
|
Nice addition Anatoli :y
|
Thank you Dazzagt.
Hope i can send all covers this week to the carpenter! |
|
Everything works after plug in?
Sticking out a bit, is it? |
Everything works!
Check the picture again - thats only for test. I send my wood covers (W204 + W212) to a carpenter to made me a custom cover for the new clima control :-) |
Nice!
So you think its going to sit good after you put cover on? Its not sticking out too much? |
It will sit same as the old control!
Not even 1mm more out!! ;-) |
Oh good.
Cant wait to see with the cover how it looks. |
A few pics after washing :)

Very sharp looking!
|
Thank you, have some more pics but it was too late for playing around with GIMP :-)
|
Looks great Anatoli, if only we had such good access to other parts and people to do the programming here in Aus... That cluster swap and climate swap is awesome.
|
@ evd: Thanks!
PM me, perhaps i can helf you with some things :-) |
My W212 climate control unit arrived today. Anatoli, how is your custom surround going? Is it ready?
https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...0c1b024b8a.jpg |
Looks good :y
See the difference? My W212 clima control has 5 buttons on the bottom, yours 4. Have all the US W212 4 buttons? I already send both covers and the unit to the carpenter, hope the custom surround will be finished next week :) I also bought cover panels for the B-pillar, now they will be saddled with black alcantara :) https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...41bb5cfb04.jpg |
This car gets better and better like a fine wine, just awesome Anatoli
Keep up the great work:y edit - my 63rd post too:D |
Yes, so far I have only seen 4 buttons on US cars. 5 button must be Euro style.
Alcantera is going to look good 👍🏻. Will you do headliner in alcantera also? |
@ Cohen: Thank you :y
No, everything what is black solid will not be changed. I like it. But this big plastic surface i do not like...so i go with alcantara and will see if it fits into interior. After that perhaps the back seat cover will be also saddled with alcantara :) Today i changed the ESP sensor. Therefor i had to uninstall the drivers seat and the carper beneath. All together about 1 hour. After that i installed backcat pipes - the sound is really good now :naughty::naughty: https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...fdd6dda2b6.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...24d6229190.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...848b1481aa.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...ae3307b553.jpg Never stop tuning :-D |
I bet is sounds amazing! You should post before and after video clips so we hear the differance.
|
Before clips i already have posted on page 8 ;)
|
Oh yes, I have seen those. Let's hear how it sounds now.
|
Give me some time - i will make a few videos.

Awesome update Anatoli :y
Car looking great in the pics and I know what you mean about the pipe change ! Just the right amount of extra noise, and no downside inside on longer autobahn trips. Keep up the good work !! |
Thank you!
I`m still waiting for my next parts :) https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...0208c77b33.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...941f778fc2.jpg |

:y Looking good
|
Thank you, next time the windows trim and roof railing will be dipped.
|
Nice man, I dipped mine the same.
Haven't done the window trims or roof rack..seems like way too much of a pain in the butt! might just vinyl wrap it instead. |
That looks very good.
|
Anatoli, so I installed W205 steering wheel on my 2011 W212 and installation was very simple but my buttons, pedals and lighting does not work :(
I guess I need the facelift W212 steering wheel column... https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...936d1419c2.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...5d248f7f84.jpg |
Love this thread.
great to see a W205 Steering wheel retrofit! |
Anatoli, where did you buy the LED turn signal light bulb? Did you get any errors after installing it? Did you need to buy a resistor?
Thank you |
Steering wheel fits perfect but you need the right column to light up the buttons.
LED --> http://www.benzinfabrik.de/de/led-bl...-bau15s-py21w/ I bought no. 7675 (no resistor, no error).:y @ AMG893: Thank you :) Today i installed my new covers upholstered with alcantara. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...bed1634e7d.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...2932352594.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...7d3cf7ade0.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...1660b94a85.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...cc571c373f.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...26f4008be4.jpg |
Yes, I'm looking for the steering column right now.
Thank you for the info on the bulbs :) Love the way alcantara looks, so much more quality looking now. |
How did you get the fog light covers off?
|
Pull the covers and they will come out easily. :)
@Kobzarhomes: Or...you send me the wheel instead looking for the column :D:D You also need a facelift speedo for your W212. |
Anatoli: hahaha Nice try! You still did not find one??
I was driving the car all day today and it feels so good in your hand. The wheels is a little smaller so it feels more sportier. |
No, found no steering wheel yet.
|
Love the Alcantara additions Anatoli.. need to sort my silver fog surrounds..:y
|
|
So so so nice! So many little upgrades and details that make the car look modern, stunning and crisp. Excellent job!
|
Thank you! :-)
|
Some updates :)
- New Key Back Cover - whole chrome wrappped in matt black (next week better pics) - some more alcantara upholstered covers Hope you like it too :y https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...c46e58b94f.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...4240b3ca01.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...4431e9d305.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...bcfd0527ca.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...c35c8b9e49.jpg |

|
Anatoli.....very nice car!!! No front CF lip CF side vents or CF diffuser decision? I like it with out but what are you deciding?
I am still undecided... |
I really don't know if i need or want cf parts.
Sometimes i think about the spoiler, mirrors & diffusor if i should get them. But for now i didn't make the decision to buy those parts. |
I see....same here! :D
|
Any updates?? :0
Anatoli can you PM me with whats required to do the dash cluster swapover? In terms of programming and parts required? Am interested to see if my local guy has the tools/hardware to get it sorted! Cheers |
I`m still waiting for parts...:)

I hate Mercedes for not bringing the wagon over to the US...BS...really pisses me off...same with the fact that many options were unavailable initially on non-Euro spec cars

I had not yet seen the climate control retrofit until this thread...could you elaborate on the parts needed (I see you had to create a custom molding). Also, maybe I missed it but could you post a picture of the install? Would love to see how it looks with the interior. |

|
You`re right.
But still a wonderful car! Plan is to go with 19" OZ and coilover! The matte black C63 will also get H&R coilover next month. |
Nice to see it out again. Don't forget to check that bulb holder for me when you get a chance. :)

Under-floor coated with fat! What`s rust??? :D I was considering doing rubberized undercoating since I drive the car year round. BTW, great thread and love the estate! |
Looks like someone blew their nose all over the bottom LOL
same question as above...is it really fat?! |
Interesting. I bet it smells good when it gets on the exhaust components :)
I use Fluid Film on the under-body of my winter vehicle. So far, it's working great.. |
Yes, it`s fat. It is also used for greasing/lubrication.

Did you consider getting a facelift rear bumper and diffuser? |
Not for now...:)
|
The estate FL diffuser is much more aggressive and changed the rear of my car. Just sharing my personal advice from own experience :y

Very clean looking estate, nice taste
|
How did you do the FL dash in a PFL? I can't find any DIY, is it plug and play?
|
@Dazzagt: France, alsace, vosges.
@c63_alex: Thank you very much! @C SEXY 3: You are speaking about the fl cluster? If so - it fits p&p but you have to code the mileage and all your services. Also you have the issue with the turn lights. Check out this thread some pages back for more information. I used the C63 507 edition cluster w/ a GLK frame. |

It has the same case but without the sign:) Now everything looks perfect, i am happy:y fl cluster with my old pre fl case http://s14.directupload.net/images/140601/pwudjbkh.jpg fl cluster with glk fl case http://s1.directupload.net/images/140601/qqzvi6fe.jpg http://s1.directupload.net/images/140601/9pllv5ub.jpg suspension http://s1.directupload.net/images/140601/i6cksugo.jpg http://s1.directupload.net/images/140601/wq95a34x.jpg some fat:D http://s14.directupload.net/images/140601/5gjen9p7.jpg So it is plug and play for the dash just need to to code the millage correctly how hard is that to do? I didn't even know that would be legal lol |
Why it wouldn`t be legal?
What are you going to do if your cluster will break? :) If the cluster you buy is new the correct mileage will be tranfered automatically - thats what i read. If it has more you have to code. Your have to find a dealer or company can code it for you. |
I wasn't aware that you could change the millage on the odometer, that was all.
So, if I understand this right... Purchase a new GLK 2012 (or face-lift) instrument cluster and plug it in and the millage should just transfer? But if I get a used one I will have to re-code the millage back to the prior dash? |
Your photos are great.
What camera and lens kit do you use? |
@C SEXY 3 I don`t know if GLK cluster will work...i installed a c class amg cluster. I used only the frame from the glk cluster. If the mileage won`t transfer you have to code it.
@sean I use an old Canon 550d with the regular kit objective (18-55) :) I am looking to get a new camera... CL500 C216 Drives amazing, i really like it. But now it`s time to lower it and get big new wheels :naughty: https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...e2887ca2ba.jpghttps://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...9f5a471c6a.jpghttps://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...437ec339c0.jpghttps://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...794e73c367.jpg |
Anatoli!!!!!
You went from a gorgeous, ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS custom C63 to an older model CL500?!!!! I loved your C63 and it was a shame you sold it!:nix: Is the CL a 2007/2008?:confused: |
Yes, yes and no - year 2009
I am sad as well i had to sell the car, but i have private reasons for it. Otherwise i would never sell my C63 - except for changing to a newer AMG model. For the next 1-2 years this CL is the perfect car for me. We`ll see what happens after this time :) |
Hello there Anatoli, trust that all is well
The OZ Ultraleggera HLT wheels looked amazing on your car, did you use spacers with them? I would like to know why you went for wheel sizes 8.5J in the front and 9J at the rear, because it makes sense to me to go 9.5J for the rear as well so that the wheels will be half an inch wider front and rear and 245 width tyres can be used at the front and 265 width for the rear. Do you perhaps know if the Ultraleggera HLT will fit the W204 C63 using 8.5J front and 9.5J rear wheels with the standard OZ wheel offsets? |
