Hi guys,

I'm a newly registered member but longtime lurker. I need your advice and input please.

I have the chance to purchase a set of black Edition 507 wheels with virtually new OEM Continental tires from an acquaintance who swapped them out for HRE's within the first week of his 507 purchase. He's asked me to make an offer for them.

How much should I offer him? How much would you be willing to pay? I'm going for the "stock" OEM look, so I'm not considering any aftermarket wheels. I know the 507 wheels are forged, and are going for something ridiculous like $11,000+ from the dealership, if they can get them. I would appreciate any input you guys may have. Thanks!

That's still pretty expensive, and not something I'd pay.

I did a search for older FS threads here, but couldn't find a definitive price.

Yes but thats brand new from the STEALERSHIP. So members asking for anything more or close to that price point have a little too much faith. Ive seen for sale threads trying to get 8k for them etc. Rediculous. I know youre going for OEM, but if youre spending anything over 4k, go aftermarket.

^What he said. 4K would be about what I would pay, with tires and TPMS. But that's just me. Are tires included in the sale?

Edit: NM, just saw that your buddy is selling with tires. Go for it, I haven't seen any non-507s with 507 wheels.

I doubt you want reps ...but just saying they are out and cheap

Oh yeah, i've seen them, and they're realllly cheap. But i can't see them lasting too long as those are cheap cast wheels, especially with those super thin spokes.
