mickey thompson et street 2s installed

Finally got a set of 265/40/18 MT et street 2s.....car hooks right up with no issues at all and feels alot better cruising around. Went to the track and wasn't very satisfied. I dont know if it was the temp. but I ran a consistent 12.2 @ 115. I know the bigger tires would make me slower but not by 4 tenths. lol anyone got a Better way to launch the car. definitely bogs until 3k rpm. also does anyone make a trans break or a launch control mod for the w204 63s? thanks in advance

What's your 60???

Run race gas mix will help with bog.

Don't load it up longer than a few seconds it will pull timing.

Do your burn out get to the light foot on the brake no stall up light goes green mash the pedal

Best 60ft times I have got is 1.8 some on here get 1.7 with street tyres

I know you have m/t u should be able to get a 1.7 60 ft

I run 19psi in mine.

When you burnout do 4-5 seconds. Longer and your wasting tire and increasing tire psi.

sorry for the delayed respons fellas im a workin man.....tie pressure was set at 30psi....than dropped it down to 25.......no need for a Burnout.....car hooks right up unless I should? got the M ickeys from my buddies shop he gets a discount with some company so I paid 500 for em.

Yes the car is modded.....
-renntech tune
-charcoal delete and k&n filters
-secondary and res. delete.

About the race gas? that wont hurt anything?

I tried launching at 2k...1500 and 1250.....my 11.8 was on the 1250 launch with street tires. and managed a 1.82 60ft. but the mt streets gave me a 1.95 - 2.0.....just seemed that when she hooked it bogged till 30mph or so than it was game on.....

Try removing the back seats, passenger seat.

Run a 1/4 tank of fuel but mix in half race gas 105oct.

Let the car cool down when u get to the track, but run it hard on the way there with the race gas mix in it.

Try just stomping it without loading it up.

what about that 108 octane booster? are those any good.....
and that wont harm anything? so well say like a mixture of 3 gallons to a half of race gas?

Find a VP race fuel seller in your area. Buy some MS109. Mix 5 gallons of race gas to 5 gallons of 91(or 93 if you have it). After fill up I let the car idle for about 5 minutes then really beat on it on the way to the track.

Dont really trust octane boosters too much. Torco is the only one that I've heard really makes a difference, however its nothing compared to using racefuel.

The smallest burnout you can do and still hook is the best (for tire life). If you are dead hooking with no burnout, don't do one. Also, when the car dead hooks you should get a lower ET and also a lower trap speed than when you spin out of the hole.

If you don't do a burnout at least spin the tires for few seconds so u don't bring lil rocks on the track.

I have heard a few explanations but I don't think anyone I've heard has a definative irrefutable scientific explanation for it (sorry but the Dr. part of my brain needs hard facts sometimes, LOL). I can say why I think, and what I've heard, but it's really just an educated guess based on experience. Suffice it to say that any experienced drag racer will tell you that is the way it is, just like we can say gravity will still work tomorrow just like today.
