But if I shifted 1/2" it would flare up like mad
When it finally let loose looked like I pissed sand
Then it got worse: scratched urethra with urine passing down it
Been clear for 10 years now

 

I cut a stone out of myself with a rusty swiss army knife before, wasn't bad at all!

Isn't it amazing that you go from crazy pain for a few weeks that has you just laying there wishing you weren't alive anymore to being in a state like nothing happened at all?

Glad they fixed you up nicely. I'd hate to have to think about life without MBH.

 

to answer the question I seen in this thread, we use Evotech USA for tuning. However you are more than welcome to use anyone you like. Also the guys as ACG in SD and in NY do a great job and have a lot of experience installing our headers. Not to mention that have great tunes that work well with our headers.

I had a CT scan done last October and they found a small stone. I was advised to drink water and wait for it to pass. The pain went away so I thought it passed. Then one night while in San Diego I woke up with some good pain. Thought it was just the Mexican food not sitting well. Pain went away, then came back about 4 days later, went away again. called my Doctor to make an appointment, but they were booked for a a week and a half. Once I got in to see my Dr. He ordered the CT scan. This was on a Friday. Sunday night comes and The pain was so bad in my kidney area it make be puke and have cold chills. Very close to going to the ER. They it just kind of went away for the night. I got an appointment for a CT scan the next So I go to work and the pain start building back up as I'm waiting to go get the scan.

The scan showed a 7mm stone shaped like a 308 rifle bullet It was impaled into my ureter tube going from my kidney to my bladder. So not only did I have a huge obstruction, but an internal wound as well.

When I woke up from surgery the nurse was shaking a container over my face with parts of the stone, dont remember much of that but it was huge. Funny part is. I was so out of it when I woke up from anesthesia I asked the nursing staff If they wanted to go get chicken fingers with me. Along with a few inappropriate comments.

Tell you what, I owe a big thanks to forum member JTurkel (C32/C55 section) He's a close friend of mine from Phoenix and now a Doctor at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He made himself available to me when the pain first started and all during recovery.

 

You are not kidding, As soon as the stent was removed, I was in a bit of pain for a few hours and then it was like someone turned the pain switch off. I literally feel 100% right now. Having that stent inside of me was the absolute worst.

 

That was certainly an awful ordeal you went through. Your story had my imagination reeling and even though I am sure I cannot fully comprehend what you suffered through I sure felt a sense of relief when the pain ceased. Glad to hear you are feeling 100% again. Welcome back!

 

No I did not dyno my car. I don't even know of a dyno facility in this area of NB, Can. I did do a couple of GTech runs before and after tune. I have not done a post header run yet. Traction is a major issue and it is hard to get any consistency in runs on the street. I believe I did see a gain with the tune over my P31 stock of .15 - .2 sec.

Hoping for +150whp when done... although +100hp would be good enough

This is the c63 section maybe try asking in the regular 204 section. Also you aren’t going to pickup anywhere near 100 crank hp let along wheel from headers and an exhaust on c350
