I will tell you right now, those are NOT MBH headers and are NOT in anyway made by MBH or in our shop. We would never used a stamped collector in anything we build. We build our own collectors in house

We have always been trying to find a way to lower prices. We never sacrifice quality and always use the same 16 gauge 304 stainless steel in our header systems, mid-sections and Xpipes.

All I asked is that you provide meaning to your overstated comments in the EC thread, no need to flare up over it. When people make statements, they should stand behind them, with experience, or facts, or something that gains the respect of the audience. Heck you may even gain a fan with your wealth of knowledge if you backed it up. Could have turned us all always from the product with facts if you had them. You stammered on exclaiming remarks on a product you know nothing about. Do you know the overall diameter of the EC pulley compared to oem, or what the weight difference is, it may be such a small difference that it doesn't make a hill of beans change to the system of the car. lol
I asked EC the questions regarding your concerns, lets see what they say.

If a reputable manufacturer produced headers for our cars, in the area of 1500-2000 with the headers / mid pipe. They would clean up.
but 3K + for a set of headers is crazy when you consider install costs etc.

That depends
If you can shed enough weight off your wheels compared to stock. You will launch / pick up much quicker.
But you are right, figure 6-10 HRS of install costs + headers. Were talking about a 4K affair.
LSD is next on my list then headers.

I did meet someone in person with the VFR and was about to pull the trigger on it, unfortunately, the one they brought to show me had been fractured in transit and I really kind of had my heart set on the Mode Carbon.
I am personally very happy with the MC, quality is unreal and the medium sized fins really fit the class of the car quite nice. Yours is a bit more aggressive than mine tho.
I would try VFR I think.
