Is there a reason why this grill would not fit?

I am tired of searching for a facelift black grill. Everything out there is for pre-face lift.

I tried plasti dipping and didnt like he results. Tried to get the stock one painted to gloss black and I was told it is very hard to paint over chrome and that chrome would be exposed with one rock chip.

This looks exactly the same as facelift grill. Is there a reason why this grill would not fit:

Thanks in advance.

It's a "Facelift Style" made for Prefacelift.

You have to modify the tabs for them to fit correctly.

Do you know if it bolts on? Or does it require modification like ab0bab0i said?

From the pictures it looks exactly the same as my stock grill but not sure if there is a big difference as far as tabs go.

Took the OP here 5 minutes, so I assume bolt on. But here is the big thread on it.

Yeah but OP has a facelift C63 and he's trying to fit this grill on his facelift C63 when its made for prefacelift c63's.

Everyone in that thread is fitting the grill on their Pre-facelift C63.

ab0bab0i is correct. For whatever reason all the aftermarket black grills are made for PFL cars.

Go have your grilled wrapped in matte or glass black. Best option from here in my opinion.

I have this grill and fitment and quality are great, but for facelifted cars, I believe ab0bab0i to be correct.

Thats a good idea and sounds like my only choice. I believe there is a place down here where I can drop it off to get it wrapped. I will definitely look in to it.

It will also be much cheaper.

Even if you have a tinted window shop or something like that... They'll typically be able to do it.

I feel you brother, been looking all over for a black grill. Everything on ebay is for PFL, or non-AMG.
