factory stock zero to 60 in 2.95 seconds, most likely conservative estimate....650 HP and torque stock for $78,995....but with basic bolt ons and ECU tuning would you guys say 850 or 900 horsepower is easily attainable? Should be the most bang for the buck out there.....

For sure I'm interested. I'd be all over that if I could live with a 2-seater daily.
This is a track-ready car if there ever was one.

2015 E63S AMG & 2013 GLK350
Same here I need a 4 seater for at least a few more years and want AWD which is why I ordered an E63S - but for a ridiculously fast two seater on a (sort of) budget you can't go wrong with a Z06

After the recent price adjustment I am more interested in a Viper. But the Z06 looks like a great deal. I doubt those numbers are conservative as the OP seems to think.

Car and Driver has blown 2 normal corvette motors and my friend's stingray with 3,000 miles decided that it wanted to dump its fuel all over his garage. No thanks. I'll keep my C63.

Nothing will touch the ZO6 for the money, GT-R is getting really out dated and im not sure the AMG-GT will be close when it comes to performance and numbers the Vette will put up.

As mentioned above, I would take a GenV Viper all day long over this car!
The performance of the Z06 is unmatched, but I am not digging it in the appearance department at all, and... its a vette, everyone and their mother has one.
That is why I went C63 over S4, M3 or even M5. Not saying the C63 is super rare, but compared to its competition it is.
I have ridden in my buddies GenV Viper on a number of occasions now, there isn't much out there like it! I LOVE THE GENV VIPER, and I HATE MOPAR, so it is saying a lot. If you haven't ridden in a GenV Viper, go!
I would have to say the Z06 will probably smoke the Viper, but I personally am more about exclusivity than performance I am finding.
The GTR is getting dated, from what I understand they aren't changing a whole lot with the next gen either. Having said that, there isn't anything out there more tunable!

Saw this one outside of my building yesterday.
The aftermarket is lagging on the Gen 5's, though....
