SRS Warning On Dash
Hi all I have an "SRS Warning On Dash" I assume it's something to do with one of the seat pads or the seat belt receptacles. Anyone ever had this problem? Anyone know how to reset this? I am trying to stay away from the dealership for this.
Thanks, Mike

Hey Mike, did the SRS service required indicator popped up all of a sudden?
Or did you play with the airbag system and/or seatbelts?
Unfortunately there is no way for you to reset that message unless you have a specific diagnostic tool. I can tell you it is $120 at the dealership.
Nonetheless if your system is really faulty you will have to fix it as currently your airbag won't work in case of accident. And life is priceless ... GL

Could be the driver side belt. I think there is a recall or something on earlier models. Does it say "service required" on the left side?
It might covered under the warranty

I read somewhere SRS system are covered under warranty for much longer than standard warranty.

I put my camera on the front passenger seat, fired it up and got the SRS message. I took the camera off the front passenger seat but the message didnʻt clear.
I turned off the engine. I got out and went to the front passenger side, removed the camera and sat in the front passenger seat. I went back to the driver seat, fired it up again and didnʻt see the SRS message.
