Recently had the chance to race a Vf650 kitted e92 m3. I'm sure it had an after market it exhaust too as it sounded off tap. We raced a few times, first time he got me as I started in wrong gear, second time we went from 1st and was door to door to top of 4th. 3rd time I got the hit and pulled about half a car. My car has tune headers and intake snorkels. I was expecting to lose to him. But very surprised with the out come. Don't be shy to race those super charged m3's. I have beaten a ess kitted one and lost to aa kitted one. I will be racing another supercharged m3 this Sunday. I have footage but I don't know how to post it.

I also beat a gallardo lp 560-4 with exhaust and lost to a 430 scuderia but never got a clean run with it.

I've raced two 650 kit m3's and one with a built motor. I beat one, but he had a leak. I lost to the other two, not insanely bad, but by Atleast 2 car lengths from 40-175. I have more mods than you. But I do think supercharged m3's are way more hyped then they can back up.

Oh...I forgot some people in the world drive on the wrong side of the road. Haha jk didn't notice that,but regardless man, if that m3 is running properly with a 650 kit, there's absolutely no way you can beat him with a header/tune setup fairly. Im disregarding the intake because well...let's be realistic it doesn't do anything. A supercharged c63 vs a supercharged m3, now that's demolition.

Honestly, I'm not faster then him. We are dead even, that run I got the hit. We raced rolling from 1st and we are door to door to the top of 4th. I spoke to the owner and he said it's the vf650 kit. I wish I took a pic of the engine bay! It's got after market exhaust (wether it's headers inc I don't know) but the car sounds off tap!! We raced 3 times. 1st time he got me as I started in the wrong gear, 2nd run door to door, 3rd run I got the hit (video) was from my 2nd.

Do you know if the vf is weaker than the ess? My friends m3 Spanks porsche turbos and z06's all day long but his is an Ess650. I don't think m3 guys change their headers, all the m3 guys i know just have exhaust systems. I know they run full catless with a SC system. Anyways! Nice kill, it's still awesome seeing people modding their c's so RESPECT for running yours unlike a lot of people who act like their c63 is a 500k car that has to be garaged.

I've beaten a ess kitted car and lost to aa kitted m3. But I'm going to race the aa car again soon as I beat a car that he lost to recently. I'm racing another super charged m3 this Sunday, not sure on the specs but il try get vids and will post details

At a local roll racing event here in Toronto, a members C63 (no headers, just tune / intake) pulled on a few SC'd M3's. He lost to an ESS650 but pulled on the Active Autowerks cars pretty easily.


Those M3's are great when wound up, the high strung motors make for awesome high speed pulls. But they just cant seem to overcome the TQ the M156 can belt out down low on the power band.

This is from a dig with a ess650 owner claimed 611rw. But from a 50roll I don't stand a chance . In a matter of 1200 feet another ess650 put 1.5 cars on me from a 50 roll.
(The run on the video I ran 11.0@128. @ 3550lbs.)

I raced a 2003 stage 2 active autowerke supercharger M3, no videos but like 50 people saw, anyways I pulled him hard..basically wasn't even in my rear view after 10 seconds lol..funny he said it put down 460whp..I doubt it, my car runs around that much whp, I'm just running OE tune/airboxes and 2nd cat delete, I also raced a brand new sting ray when I had 2 blown fuel pumps ...walked him in limp mode, hilarious..I laughed because my car was choking HARD after 5K it still pulled hard..yolo i ain't backing down when some a-hole is tailing gate for miles especially when i switch lanes to let him pass

Btw guys if you ever get low fuel rail preasure, it's the fuel pumps..mine were caked in crap..not sure how or why but anyways car pulls harder then when i bought it now im pretty sure

Those ess 650 m3s trap at least 130 full weight. Our NA c63 don't have a chance. But my C63 trapped 121+ on my vbox in cold temps on 93oct.

Ive been trying to organise the race with the other vf kitted m3 but we havent had a chance! was going to race tonight, how ever its storming here. almost every night last 2 weeks. He raced my friends c63 that has the same exhaust set up as mine how ever he is running a eurocharged v5 tune. They were door to door up to about 160 then the m3 pulled a car or 2 on him. I havent raced the other c63 yet, but soon the 3 of us will be out for some races. will post results.
