Carbon Side Vents

I was toying with fitting some front carbon side vents for a while. Some pictures on the internet I looked at put me off while others looked good. I like the more pronounced vents on the pre-facelift c63's and feel MB weekend this part of the design on the facelift model.

Fitting was easy and I am very pleased with the result - photos don't really do this addition much justice - they look much better in the flesh. Having a dark colour suits them better (mine is Magnetite). If you are debating this, I recommend them as they make the car look even more aggressive and wider at the front. Have attached a photo...

Mark, they look great. I've got the same colour car. Would you mind posting some more photos if you have time please. And do you mind saying how much they were and where you sourced them please?

This and that.
I've got a new CF lip and CF side vents on the way. Pretty excited about getting them and installing them.

They look good on dark color cars, not so much on lighter color cars.

I have a white car but I am specifically going for the black and white theme with all the CF parts. I guess we will find out how it looks after I get it installed.

Makes me wish I had a FL C63 The side vents for preFL aren't as nice.

I would have to agree but I think if you have the front lip, rear diffuser they add a nice touch to the whole combination. That's the reason why I got them.

Thanks for the feedback - these are made by Boca who do a range of carbon products. They retail at £200 but quite honestly I have seen them for half the price on eBay and I am sure they are just as good. Here are a couple more pics as requested.

Very easy! They come with 3M double sided pre stuck so all I did was clean the area, peel off the backing and stick. The slight challenge is lining them up but this is straight forward as they are moulded to the correct shape and contours of the car. I ran a very thin bead of black silicone around the edge just to finish it off and that really makes it look pro.

Nice wagon. the CF vents complement the car overall
