I had someone try to steal the BBS wheels off my 04 STi back in the day. Luckily they must have been interrupted. A couple lugs on the ground, and a few loosened.

Case in point here is ALL owners of nice automobiles should be aware of proper towing points and precautions. I personally know a reputable tow operator that routinely calls on me for advice in towing & loading of Exotics. Don't be afraid to ask the operator if he knows how to properly execute the loading and are they liable for damages! That's very important as seen above.

this thread is horrible. I could have nightmares about this. Wheels stolen then car dragged via rotors across the pavement. Paint and paint stripper thrown on your ride. God, this is horrible. I'm so happy I keep my car garaged at home and have some decent locking wheel lugs. Other than that, when I park in the city (NYC) I'm parking in a garage, period. NO WAY leaving it on the street...
