Air Circulation Issue
just a couple days ago i noticed nothing comes out of my vents even @ full blast
heat is working because when i press my hand against the vent i can feel a bit of warmth
Has anybody experienced this, If so what kind of troubleshooting can I do on my own before taking the vehicle in ?

Blower motor regulator took a s***. The only unfortunate thing is that you can't get seperate. You will need the whole blower motor assembly. Common for W204 model. May wake up and work for you but more than likely will be inop again. Take down the passenger under dash panel and check for dried up water traces. Sometimes water will enter fresh air flap on drip right on blower motor assembly.

That sucks, and he is 100% right. I had mine done under warranty. Is it only on high? Because if it is you can still use the lower modes. It's a PITA when you loose 3 lower modes

Low or high there is no "wind" coming out from the vent !
sucks because it just happened on the days where it has been -30+
I checked and blower motor sells for $250 online
guess i could purchase it online and have my mechanic friend install it for me.

Don't remember price on blower motor. If I remember right diagnostic fee with parts and labor $800-1200 range. Very easy to do yourself. Remove pass under dash panel T20 torx disconnect electrical connector to blower motor. Turn blower motor left (can use a lot of force to get the blower motor to turn) and remove. Put some silicone spray or light application of sunroof grease on mounting surface lock tabs (makes it easier to turn blower motor into lock position) once blower motor is turned right and locked into place plug connector in and install panel back. Also since your right in that area may want to replace dust filter if it's been awhile since its right next to blower motor.

$250 seems about right for part was gonna say $300-500 somewhere in between there. Order it up and if not you your buddy can install. 10-15 min job and you'll be on your way. Again may won't to get a dust filter too if not sure when it was replaced last.

$250 is a great price. You could also do it yourself, it is a very easy job, like lego. Couple of screws blower motor and resistor that looks like its space aged compared to other cars...lol. Go for it brother
