Thanks! I actually think it's the best color out there. I'm glad its such an umcommon color. That's my style. I never want to have some guy pull up next to me with a similar setup. Thats why I chose my options.

So the guys will be putting it on the Dyno this week so ill get those numbers out as soon as I can. They are then going to pull the heads and tranny an send it off the Weistec. They said turn around is 2-3 weeks. Have lots of other parts coming in from everywhere under the sun, so will see how timing goes.
im looking at getting some ADV05 for the street (20", 265/305) but having difficulty finding drag tires for my 20" HRE's that I can drive to the track. Trofeo R's would only fit 19's.

Probably getting a GruppeM carbon air intake. Checking into it.

This is why I had said to go with 19" wheels as every tire comes to fit that size rim. When you go to 20" rims the tire options become very limited on race tires. Just get some PSS for the street and get some 17" rears for the strip.

I definitely agree, but I already have the 20s made and am seeing if I can get them set up for drag and then get a better setup size front and rear for street

I am going to try the 325/30r20 Pilot sport cup 2 on the rear and 305/30r20 in the front which is around 5% over stock diameter so I have got a unit that goes between the wheel seed sensor and the speedometer in order to do the correction.

That sounds interesting! Ive almost got my wheel issues figured out. Im going to get PSS on the HREs for when im driving to the drag strip. I will get same HRE wheels but either 18 or 19 wrapped with Hoosiers or M/T to put on when I get there. I am getting either 19 or 20 ADV1.05 2 piece for my daily driving and occasional track use with prob 265/305. They will let me kno b/c they never put those on C63 widebody

On the 09 the PP does not add power correct? Mostly the brakes , springs and LSD?
Any graphs?

How are they? Im interested because they have worked on a couple of my BMW for repairs and maint. Never tried them for MODS.
Im 30 minutes from them and Im 5 min from AMS performance. Im trying to decide who to go to for MODS.

Yes, no power, just takes off the limiter. Sorry for the poor quality pic from the laptop.

I think they are really great at what they do, top to bottom. Look up 'Fluid Motor Union CLK 63 BS' that they did for SEMA 2011. They specialize in bmers as well as MB. Very educated group of guys who really take care of your vehicle and give an extremely fair price. Truly hard to beat combo!

I know. Sorry nothing additional to see yet. Blizzard up in Chicago along with new Dyno software slowed down the initial progress. Things were on hold until the Dyno run could be performed.

Engine and tranny with be pulled early this week and parts will be sent off to Weistec in CA. BS hood and lights are ordered. Renntech is waiting for the hood to paint along with the widebody kit and side marker lights.

In the process of looking at options for 5-6 pt roll bar. Would like one similar to Dads C63 which was removable and keeps the rear seats intact.

Looking at probably 17" rear wheels/drag tires. Shop finding fitment for HRE's to match front.

Will def send pics as they come in!

Motor and tranny out and getting shipped to Weistec. Will probably be back in the shop in 3-4 weeks. In the meantime getting hood and widebody painted. Also fabrication of the removable roll bar will begin. Im wanting to keep the classic C63 exhaust tone but will be getting a cutout for flames. Looking into options for powdercoating the valve covers. Also ordering a Weistec torque converter.

Well done!

The beast is coming along nicely.

In terms of seatbelt choice - You can definitely order a set of OEM C63 BS seatbelts in red. The stock parts fit the W204 PFL sedans as well.

Its about 1200 bucks for the 5 seat belts / tensioners from MB directly.

Awesome build! Can't wait to see the ADV & HRE. But I do agree about the Renntech body kit choice, this kit wont do ur car justice.
