Proper wheel spacers for C63 Coupe

Hello guys im interested in getting two spacers only for my rear wheels, but they (H&R in USA) are asking me what is the measure of my "wheel hub" where the spacers are installed, because they have two types of spacers and getting the wrong one could make damage to me wheels. If anyone know this I would really appreciate this. I have the factory 19" multispoke wheel. Thank you very much. Simon.

66.6 is our hub measurement, if not lowered (with 255/30 oem size tire) get 12mm spacers with 40mm lugs.. If u are lowered do 10mm with 37 mm or 40mm lugs.

Thanks for the answer.

Yes I'm lowered with H&R Springs, 10mm would be ok then. Im running the typical multispoke 19". And what is the perfect bolt size for the wheel with the 10mm spacers?

Thanks again.

Definitely no problem, I have the exact set-up /combo no rubbing at all. Nice & flush all around.

I am about to buy spacers as well. Stock height, run 19s multispoke in the summer. If I get 10mm spacers on all 4 corners, do I need to get extended lug nuts or OEM will suffice?

Never use oem lugs with any spacers over 3mm for ur safety.

Always get the right size lugs.

Oem 27mm + thickness of spacers = right size

If you are trying to kill yourself (and/or perhaps someone else), they will be perfect.

ALWAYS get longer bolts with a length of the OEM bolt length + the thickness of the spacer you're going to use. And, make sure you get HUB-CENTRIC spacers as well (10mm are the *thinnest* H&R makes for the C63) unless you want your wheels to fall off because the bolts will break (as opposed to strip the one or two threads that would hold them in place in the first scenario).

Now, I don't think you can get 37 mm bolts, so you'll have to get 40s - which will unfortunately hit the parkning brake assembly in the rears. You'll have to grind 10 of them down by 3 mm.

Thats what I wanted to know, thanks for the replies. I asked because I know some cars will have extra tolerances in the bolts. Looks like not the case here and its really tight behind the hub.

Since I would have to get longer bolts, may as well do a stud conversion. Hate cars with no studs. Anyone know who sells studs for this car?

Yes, the clearance in the rear hub is only 2-3mm. Spin the rear wheels by hand after bolting them on before you lower the car and listen for any ticking (bolts hitting the parking brake shoe springs). Once you set the car down, drive VERY SLOWLY with the windows down for the first 50m and listen carefully for any noises that shoudn't be there.

Porsche studs are the right size and have the same thread as the MB bolts, so you may want to look in that direction. And, Porsche also uses R14 ball seat radius so you can use OEM Porsche wheel nuts (either steel or the black anodized aluminium) with the OEM C63 wheels. If you're goign to do this on a regular C series (not C63 AMG), you need to get Audi/VW nuts which have a R13 ball seat radius.

No - but you can do 12mm on the front and 10mm on the rear with the OEM rims and OEM tire sizes (235F & 255R).

Will these work for OEM 19s and 10mm spacers. I think my 40mm lugs have been rubbing.

Edit: those are R12s....doesn't look like they have R14

I have a question if anyone knows if 295/30/18 will fit the rear of a 2012 C63 Coupe with the stock 18" wheels and no spacers? Any insight would be appreciated.

Agree - 295 is too wide for the wheelwell, and is also too wide for the stock wheel.

2012 C63 Coupe
Hey guys, have anyone bought spacers from ECS tuning? I see it is ECS branded, not H&R. I am new so I know nothing about these vendors. Plus, for the front wheels they don't have a 12mm option but have a 12.5mm, any issue if stock height? Do 40MM lug bolts work?
Any advice is appreciated!

Did you read the thread? Read it!

H&R make great spacers.

Holy thread revival batman!

Hi Guys,

New to the forums. Just picked up my new to me 507 coupe.
Absolutely love it!

Just want to confirm sizes with you guys.
I'm running stock 19's and stock height ( not going to drop her)
My plan:

12mm spacers upfront with 39mm lugs
10mm spacers rear with 37mm lugs.

That sound correct?

Secondly, when its new tyre time, will i fit 275 on the rears with these spacers and no rubbing?

I believe those spacers are only good when you run stock tire sizes.
I ran 275 Michelin PS4 tires on rear stock size and suspension on my estate with 4mm spacer and tire was mighty close on compression.
Fronts used a 10mm spacer and 245 tires.
Cannot speak for length of bolts as I use studs and nuts.
I have since changed to W205 wheels and the fronts are ET38 so no spacer required.
Run a 4mm spacer on rear (std ET56) with 265 tire now ET52.

hi Guys,

I am really battling to find 10mm spacers. No where has stock.
Would 12mm work all round on stock 507 19" with out rubbing??

Most including myself run H&R spacers. When I had stock rims I believe I was running 10mm in the rear and 12mm in the front. Was pretty flush. Just be sure you order longer lug bolts.

Im trying to find 10mm for the rear, but no where has stock ( I live in South Africa ). So Im trying to see if i go 12 mm on the rear if it will work.
I will 100% get the correct size bolts.
