2012 Coupe with 19" Niche Targa m129
This past weekend i finally put my Summer tires and wheels on
Bought the 19" Niche Targa m129 wheels from Jacky at vivid racing. It was a pleasure doing business with him and he gave me a great deal on these.
Wheels are
19x8.5 +42
19x9.5 +50
I Also reached out to "Roswell" and "sventastic82" (Forum names, i don't know their real names) on here for information on wheel sizes, offsets and so on, cause i had no clue. There were really helpful, so thank you guys for that.
Forged wheels were not in my budget, so i had to make do with Cast wheels.
For tires, decided to go with the Continental Extreme Contact DW's 245/35/19 for front and 275/30/19 in the back. Did look into the Michelin PSS, but couldn't justify paying $300-400 more for them. (Again thank you limited budget)
The car is not lowered and with 245 and 275 i don't rub at all. I might even have room to lower the car, idk. Maybe i can use some input.
Also need suggestions on what color to paint the brake calipers. 2 colors that are on my mind are either 1. Red or 2. Copper
Any help will be appreciated

Great looking wheels, love the finish! And I'm glad u are not rubbing. A slight drop would set it off nicely for sure.
As for painting calipers, I would do red on ur black car.. It would pop behind ur dark wheels.

...after looking at ur calipers again, they look great as is. Love the gunmetal color, and can't beat oem durability. Once painted, it will chips unless powder coated.

Thanks for helping during the selection process. I am wondering how much can i drop and if i will need spacers after that...

H&R springs only lower .75inch all around.
U don't need spacers in the rear cuz u are flush to the fenders already. But u could use some up front to push the wheel out a bit if u want but it's not necessary.

Maybe that help you to decide on a drop.
Got the same wheels and I'm riding on H&R springs with thicker pads for rear.
It's sedan but the drop should be comparable.

Thanks man! I am just afraid that since the coupe is supposedly a little lower, if i lower it using springs, it will start rubbing...will definitely have to look into it.
