Would you buy this C63?

Would you buy this C63?
I'm in the market for used 2012+ C63. I found one in black what has all the extras I need, what basically is... everything Mileage is 30 000 km (19 000 miles). There is only one BUT. The car has been in some kind of crash or accident, cosmetic only. Both sides of the car have been totally scratched, including panels, doors, wheels, mirrors - pretty much everything.
Would you consider buying a car what has been damaged like this before? Everything was fixed by insurance and the seller says that the job is good, because without looking the original pictures you wouldn't know about the damage. I attached some pictures of the damage too.
To be honest, the damage really doesn't bother me, but what are your thoughts?

Unless you're getting a major discount (like $8-10k off market value), not sure I would buy.
The damage looks pretty bad to me, as if he went into a tunnel/garage that was too small for the car LOL. And if that's the case, the driver must not be the greatest driver of all time. I would question whatever else may be wrong with the car.

Looking back at the damage, I would consider it to be pretty bad. Remember, the quality of job after a repaint is no where as close to OEM. If it was fixed by the dealership and they replaced the parts with OEM parts instead of repairing the damaged parts with putty, maybe I'd consider.
This is all information you'd need to ask. But again, would you be able to trust the person selling? Use a strong magnet wrapped in a microfiber towel and go around the car to see whether putty was used to repair.

The market price for cars with this low mileage and equipment start around 53 000 and go up to 58 000, so it's already quite cheap. It's quite hard to find the right car with every option. The dealer offered me a discount of 1000 euros, so the final price would be 46 890.

that damage is bad, it could take in the area of 5-10,000 USD (roughly 4-9k euro) to repair all that and get the paint to perfectly match using a good body shop.
Honestly i'd wait for a better one and just spend the money on one you dont have to bother with.

Okay, huge update. I just received the receipt from the repair shop. 6 pages of parts and total bill of 27 023 euros for the repairs. I think it's safe to say this car was very well repaired and I should pull the trigger...

Or the car was very damaged. You shouldn't pay more than 40k for it. Run.

ok so it was damaged and already repaired, i missed that......thats quite the repair bill man BUT consider that they probably had to replace some parts which arent cheap and neither is the multiple layers of oem paint.
If the work was done at a MB authorized body shop and you do a check for filler and you like the car you can try and low ball offer the dealer, but i wouldnt pay near that asking price.

27k because every single panel was replaced by new OEM part, both sides. Even the tires were replaced. The cost 27k just confirmes that they did a good job by going OEM, not doing some ****ty work.
Edit: Yeah, the damage was done last year in March.

If it was repaired without any issues at a well respected shop and you're getting 10k or so off the price I would go for it. When my car was brand new it was hit by some idiot that caused tons of cosmetic damage on the front and side. Repair bill ended up being around 28K. Never an issue with it after it was repaired at the dealer. The car is perfectly fine.

sounds like it was a good repair job and they didnt go cheap on it, so thats good.
I'd still try to knock that price down further simply because your resell value is going to be really low as well when you wish to get something different.

As long as the car didn't have any structural and mechanical damages and the repair was done at the dealership with OEM parts (which seems to be the case) you should be fine. But I would still try to knock off some $$$ off the asking price . GL

If it's at a MB dealer ask them to sell it as Certified Pre-Owned. I don't know if that is possible with a car that was crashed and repaired but if it is their willingness to do this would be a good indication of what they think of the repairs.

all that matters is do you like the car? does the work they did on it come to your standards? and would you have a problem re-selling the car later? I know know what the rules are there regarding reporting damage, etc.
If you like it and arent worried about resale value and the work meets your standards get the best deal you can and buy it. All that matters is that you are happy with it.

Well, I just can't go and check out the car on my own, because it's located in Germany and I'm from Estonia. The thing is, this wasn't an accident with injuries or something like that, so insurance paid for everything and when I export the car to my country, then there won't be a single lead to what happened with the car in Germany unless I don't mention the damage to the new owner... Yeah, that will be a dick move, but theoretically I could keep the damages as a secret, so it really won't hurt the resale value and hey... it's and old AMG that will loose it's value in a couple of years anyway.
