As far as CKS, well they are not the only ones buying parts from Asia and selling with mark-up. Most of the CF vendors in the US do the same thing. But to be honest, shipping, storage and running a middle-man business bring the price up. If you are smart enough to order directly from the manufacturer, do it, but there are downsides to that - customs and taxes, longer shipping time, and worst of all no warranty that the part will come in one piece. From my experience, the Asian manufacturers will only refund or replace a part if you send it back to them which makes no sense. I'm not excusing anyone - CKS's prices are ridiculous - but you have to take it all into account.

Euroteck was one of the first to develop CF parts for the C63 but because their parts were US-made, the prices were quite high, just like Vorsteiner. I don't
think you will find this Euroteck lip as it was discontinued and no Asian manufacturer made a copy of it.
Yes, Matt, I agree with you 100% Thank you. I really want that Boca diffuser because the exhaust lips are thin and OEM-like and the fins extend out in a just-right distance. It actually fits perfect and looks near OEM from what I have seen and heard.

Can you still get me a BOCA diffuser?

Correct, the lip is Euroteck and I have searched everywhere and no one made a copy of it in Taiwan or still makes it...

As you can see, I like that subtle look, OEM style accents...

\whats so special with these parts? Isn't the front lip sold by Gary@Suvneer pretty similar to this? The rear diffuser looks like a non-big fin diffuser sold by Mode carbon. At least, the angle of the fins is pretty similar.[/QUOTE]

The diffusers sold now have these HUGE exhaust lips that cover up the exhausts. Look at the ones for sale, you can see it.

Unless Gary or anyone can get me a big fin with the thin exhaust lips I don't think they make it anymore.

Just look at the VFR diffuser for example, they call it "aggressive" but the exhaust lips come out like bookshelves...

I just couldn't part with the amount of money these cf diffusers sell for and like Zephyr I didn't want one that covered the exhaust tips. So until I can get a decent solution I paid £60 and had my original diffuser hydro dipped.
Die hards will hate it but I'm more than happy when compared to the ugly lump of black plastic.

@ZephyrAMG, I see what you are trying to say now. Now that you have pointed it out, I also hate the fact that the diffusers seem to cover the tips like a canopy.
Although this was unintended, I recently installed an H pipe as a result of which the tips stick out a bit and the JL motoring diffuser no longer covers the tips

I believe you had another diffuser before the Vornsteiner one.....?
My first diffuser was a CF oem style from Suvneer, good quality but not aggressive enough.

I don't think u can source the Eurotek front lip anymore, u should just get smth cheap like Arkym or GodHand cuz u will end up scraping it or trashing soon or later ..so don't worry too much, at 300-400$ u can change up the look of ur car every 2 years w/o breaking the bank. Plus look at it as a bumper cushion, it's better to scratch a cheap lip than ur oem bumper.

As u noticed, CF are hit or miss no matter where u buy them from, so no point spending big dollar.

^^ lol save ur money & treat me for dim sum.

Seriously though, I shook my head reading ur misfortune with CKS.. They prolly source the parts from Asia like most mentionned.. So don't be afraid to bargain with the sponsors here or heck go shop on eBay, most of their products comes from smartplus which is the mother company of BOCA (or vice versa).

P.S Its getting harder to deal with Jaspen at BOCA nowadays, they only want to focus on wholesale. Good luck going straight to him.. Maybe u can tell him Meng sent u & he might give u my special price (buy 1 charge u 2 lol)

They are also ridiculously overpriced.

Do you know of them?

I bought my CF mirrors from them, they are SCHATZ and they are the best quality I have ever seen and they were made in Germany and included the light fixture...
They were very very expensive but they are FULL CF and no black border like the OEM ones...the weave and manufacture is FLAWLESS
By the sounds of I luckily have never dealt with CSK before for anything, MB or non MB related.

Will keep an eye on the thread, and if I can be of help to you or Matt then please just shout

Where did you get that done Ian ?

Have you got any close up pics of the finish, had someone suggest dipping mine too, but not seen one done as yet.

Hi Daz. This is the only other photo I have. It was done by A1 hydro print in Witney Oxfordshire.

They are priced at $725, and only a made to order item ~25 days to produce.

Very nice front spoiler, fits very well and super good looking weave. Can also be done in matte finish as well.

Thx for the infos, I'll let Zeph be the guinea pig first lol

I hate custom built parts, we normally have to add double the expected time of production lol

You sir are a very wise man and a veteran of the aftermarket parts game.

*edit, about production times. I can vouch for the fitment and quality of these pieces... Used to have them all on my E55 and wouldn't say a bad thing about Euroteck.

Are they made in the USA or something or overseas? Also, if I have fitment issues or manufacture issues, do you stand behind that price point? Group buy Tal?
